March 16, 201511 yr There's no difference between realising someone has left £20 and not giving it back to them and sticking your hand in their pocket and taking in out for yourself.

March 16, 201511 yr if someone asks I would give it back otherwise i'd just keep it, wouldn't hand it in or owt found £50 in a cash point once at uni made a swift exit as knew the owner would be nearby as it goes back in after about 30 seconds but i was a skint student so don't feel too bad that skint I decided as it wasn't my money i'd go the bookies and put it on something in the grand national which was the next day picked Bobbyjo as it was 20/1 and it seemed like a decent return then shit out at the count and put a a quid on instead anyway, it won so I made £70 out of my stroke of good luck
March 16, 201511 yr Give it back, I dont care if I get a thank you. Its what you should do, and its not mine.
March 16, 201511 yr Found £20 on the floor in Nicks restaurant on COR, just as we were getting showed to our table. Asked all around me, nobody even looked up, so told waitress and gave it to her. 10 mins later, my wife reaches in her pocket and tells me she has dropped a £20... Felt llike the biggest idiot asking the waitress for it back !!!

March 16, 201511 yr 'Delemer'? Consider it a fine for crimes against the English language. I'd give it back by the way Edited March 16, 201511 yr by mickbrown
March 16, 201511 yr For every one you give you get two back in other ways. I've been given too much change many times in bars and shops etc (change from £20 instead of £10) but I pity the poor fookers who will probably have it taken out of their wage or be accused of stealing. Finding money on the floor etc. is different for me for some reason, I don't trust any system or police to find the owner so I have pocketed it in the past after a polite half hearted enquiry to those who see me pick it up. Thems getting cashback from self service tills seem to regularly leave their money, I always give it to the girl you wave at like a spastic when your weight isn't to the microgramme, I do it cos I would like to think somebody would do the same if it was me.
March 16, 201511 yr A student left his £20 in the cash machine. I took it into reception and told them to put it into a charity box if he doesn't come to collect. Anyway, I went back out and found him roaming the street looking for it. My good deed. I just assumed it'd be his last £20. Edited March 16, 201511 yr by Dan.m
March 16, 201511 yr Once found some, handed it in at the cop shop, went back months later to claim it and the Police had no record of the cash being handed in... Do the math.
March 16, 201511 yr Some flash cunt barged his way in front of me when I was going into the Chinese. When he was ordering he was being a bit of a cunt by winding the staff and asking for things to be changed on the menu, then changing his mind again when they agreed. When he came to pay he dropped £20 from his wallet which I watched until he had left then picked up and used it to pay for my food and put the change in the charity box at work. Had he been a decent bloke I would have pointed it out him but as he was a cnut I didn't bother.

March 16, 201511 yr I found 30 dabs on the floor of the petrol station at Chorley tesco a while back. I pocketed it. Immediately following someone at a cash machine or checkout though I'd be handing it back if asked.
March 16, 201511 yr Author Once I left my wallet on the pump at the petrol station. Was about 30 mins before I realised what I had done. Went back but no wallet handed in, fuck! Flew home and was just about to start ringing all the banks and credit card places and there was a knock on the door. Woman said, it this yours? Found my house through my driving license. I can not tell you the relief i felt. After thanking her, and her honesty, i notice her husband was driving and they had a nipper in the back. I pulled a tenner out and said take that and buy your little girl something. Little Whitt would have been half way to the airport after booking a holiday if he had found it. March 16, 201511 yr I found a wallet in the gutter outside prego in chorley old road, it was still warm. Loads of cards inside, but no cash. Took it to the address on the driving license, bloke was absolutely made up, wanted me have a can and some weed with him !!!
March 17, 201511 yr Once found some, handed it in at the cop shop, went back months later to claim it and the Police had no record of the cash being handed in... Do the math. i did this as a kid, (£20)they told me to come back in a month to see if anyone had claimed it, they hadn't and gave it to me. 1000 cola bottles, 500 shrimps, and 500 blackjacks later, I was violently sick. (ok, bit of an exaggeration, there were a few caramacs too)
March 17, 201511 yr Once found a swish 3D Fuji video camera in a mall in las Vegas. Just left on a bench. Looked round, it was really quiet but saw this older Jap bloke about 30m away. Picked the camera up went over and asked him if it was his. If it wasn't his, he was a bloody good actor. Him and his missus reaction made it all worthwhile. Probably had their whole holiday on that camera.
