Someone is going to give us a twatting.

You could look at it like that or you could look at it like we're offloading underperformed, overpaid wastes of oxygen in favour of young, hungry, home-grown players who will give everything to stake a claim for next season.

My point is love him or loathe him, feeney has been often our only outlet this season.

Hes grafted his bollocks off and wouldve carried on doing so. More than any other team member.

We've just let him go. That to me is final resignation from the club that we are going down.

Even if the club isn't resigned to relegation, it's hard to see us avoiding it.

It's possible that getting the ball to Feeney at the earliest opportunity isn't the only way to play, though.

And yes, for all his endeavour, he's shit.

Feeney fine athlete hard worker shite footballer interesting to see how we go without him I suspect it won't be all that bad perhaps we might attack more as a unit rather than just lumping it to the fast muscley kid and getting him to put in 1 in 3 unreal crosses to no one

Wellington on right walker on left. Jobs a good en

These young an hungry players are bobbins too.

That's the problem.

There's only holding shown any promise and his defence concedes 2 per game minimum.

Clough has been invisible, Vela falls out with every cunt and isn't that good anyway.

Who knows about Woolery and Tom Walker will never play above this level.

We have a team full of shit, overpaid footballers

We get rid of one, place goes into meltdown

Get rid of them all

Should we, the fans give up as well?

No season ticket next season for example?

It's a two way street, Deano.

Funny one Clough, you have some who were claiming him to be a "superstar" not too long ago, and others claiming we should be holding out for figures between £5M~£10M when there was talk of him going.

I wonder if he will ever be the world beater some claim him to be, or is he just another Mark Davies / Nicky Brookman type?!?!

It's hardly giving up

If he's on as much as reported it was inevitable he'd be off at the first opportunity

Shame there's no takers for spearing, davies, Wheater and Pratley

If they all went tomorrow, it still wouldn't be seen as giving up to me, it's just the way it is now

Anyway

Silva gets to start each week now, so we may be better off for it

He won't find life easy in league 1 that's for certain.

His best days won't be with us.

I'm with Zico - we need to cut our cloth in order to compete, and the sooner we are able to to this, the better position we will be in to mount a challenge next season. We're down barring a biblical style miracle - the sensible thing would be to shift out as many of the ones we're not realistically going to hang on to and blood the kids.

Fair enough, let's cut our cloth. Can I be first to predict that next season will be fucking shit then

You won't be the first to predict it but predict whatever you like.

The alternative is to take on debt at the rate of about a million pounds a month but keep hold of the players we've got at the moment.

Again fair enough. But the lifeblood of this club is its season ticket holders. You've got to dangle a few carrots rather than a few turds painted orange

The season ticket holders will be there next season. As a non season ticket holder - I'll be much more likely to buy a ticket between now and the end of the season if I know I'll get to watch the kids having a proper go rather than the failures who got us into this position in the first place.

A good showing by the kids might even encourage folk to buy an ST for next season. That's the way I'm looking at it anyway.

The lower down the pyramid you get the harder it gets we know this because we've done it before anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional Sheffield United can't crack it .You need the right manager the right players & some good fortune not necessarily pots of dosh .Having a few good younger players helps as well maybe that's a start.

We're already down this season, we know it, the players know it and Deano & SS know it.

We know that we are currently losing around £1M per month  -  if we can reduce this buy circa £50K per month by off loading Feeney then it's a no brainer surely, or am I missing something?

New owners

New manager

Keep hold of our promising and cheaper players

That'd do for me

Though planning on moving to wear upper so they best not shut any of the top tiers

Exactly....especially as the knock on effect means that we are more likely to compete next season

Don't worry. If they close the upper tiers you can join me at Alty

In the upper tier? They are struggling too, so at least you'll be able to continue moaning.

Told you before. I don't moan. I'm a misery. There's a difference.

Besides, you're hardly a fucking ray of sunshine.
