Anyone wondering what the local impact of this is should have a walk round the Oxford Grove area one day.

 

Its an absolute disgrace.  We did a job there on Saturday morning and before 10am there was a full blown fight in the street between two fully grown men neither of which speaking any English at all.  A bloke screaming "I slit your throat you son of a whore" down the phone and 3/4 seperate kids with no shoes asking us for money.  It seemed a ridiculously high percentage of people who passed us were speaking in something other than English and the entire area is a fucking disgrace.

 

Every back street and garden is full of shit, we had to go round the back of the property as something wouldnt fit through the front and we couldnt get there for dumped shit.  It seems that once a bin liner is full the done thing is to just open the back gate and throw the fucker out.

 

Do I want these people living next to me?  Selfish or not do I fuck.

So sad to see.The Ocky grove area was full of decent "working class" folk when I was a kid  growing up in the 60's/70's.

I do the buy to let thing and 18 months ago was showing a Hungarian around a house. He was a decent enough bloke but spoke no English despite living in the UK for 3 years and the family's sole source of income was benefits.

Fuck me! So different than my lot. When i was introducing myself to my polish cousins last week it became apparent that there was fuck all jobs within 50 miles of the country village my mam came from. Seems my cousins sons and daughter work abroad for 10 months of every year in Britain and France, have done for the past 5 years but have saved enough to build houses on the land their parents own. Struck me that they only wanted to be abroad for as little time as possible to earn enough to build a house and future back home.

 

 

Interesting to learn that your average Pole owns more land than we can ever dream of. No duke of fucking Lancaster there that owns half the countries land! In fact Poland was the only country that Stalin allowed to continue to own farms and properties as even he conceded it was very evenly distributed. My cousin owns 18 acres of beautiful countryside along a strip of land twice the house width going back miles behind the house that used to be their farm centuries past.

and this gets my back up, bbc breakfast news there was a refugee campaigner who thinks they will come get jobs and live happily ever after!. Not a fucking chance a very small percentage maybe, the rest will slip into the welfare system and put a strain on schools nhs etc and probably crime. The government has made changes to benefits in the last budget we need to sort our own deadwood out before taking more

Bolton and Rochdale combined have more asylum seekers than the whole of the south east because of cheap housing and the council's willingness.

 

They are not spread out, my mate in rural Oxfordshire near the PM's constituency will not see any additional pressure on social resources.
