Elvis Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 as nobby says ale train both more expensive than the game and i really don't see the cost of the day dropping from 130 to 120 making the tiniest bit of difference Sounds like your getting a little giddy for this trip to the smoke. Keep off that red wine on the way home, and that will keep your cost down! Tell Garp he can't come to Dubai. He will be locked up on his first night.. Quote

Qpr @£27 is worth it, where qpr @£37 would put me off Quote
MancWanderer Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Make the match tickets cheapish and folk will travel as they'll always find a way to get there on a reasonable budget Hike the ticket cost up and they won't even look at travel costs Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 £20 for away tickets is a dangerous precedent. Obviously the idea is to pass on some of tv money windfalls to supporters, rather than players wages & agents. However, if the costs were the same for Prem, Championship & leagues , when young lads are picking their teams..... would you go to City at Liverpool or Oldham at Scunthorpe ? Bigger clubs will just get bigger. Rather than saying 20 is plenty, instead consider a cap..... £40 premier, £25 championship, £20 league 1....and so on. The real problem of course is the big 5 or 6 can sell out at any price, so why would they want big cheap away followings. There are more issues but I don't want to prattle on! £20 is plenty isn't realistic, though pricing does need looking at. Leeds have been taking the piss for years. Though Quote
MalcolmW Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Just stumbled across the referee appointment: Darren Drysdale. He did Rotherham v BWFC last season and BWFC v Wigan in 13-14. Quote

Take Hunt Off Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Flatfoot Mackie out for QPR .......hope its reasonably serious . Quote
captainmed Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) I keep all my away tickets. They are currently far cheaper than they were 10+ years ago when there was normally just an adult & child ticket price. None of this under 12, under 18, under 21 etc that we have now. I remember paying late 30's and I think around 18 for C when he was about 6 away at Newcastle. Yes I know it was prem but kids and youths have it good now. And its also cheaper relatively for us old cunts too Edited September 29, 2015 by captainmed Quote
