We really do look a much poorer team without Pratley, going back to last season as well.

Didn't they beat us out of sight at their place season before last, without a recognised striker (when Dougie was our manager?)

Game over could have been 10 but once we reverted back to From 3-5-2 we dint concede he needs to forget 3-5-2 for good now!

Ah well, had Boro to win league so at least thats out of the way. Hopefully Lenny will have learned from that, we will get 3 or more players in after Ream goes and improve. Need at least a draw against MK Dons now.

In a nutshell.

You can't knock that from Lennon. We've had managers in the past who get it wrong and are too stubborn to admit it and change (Colin Todd in his later days, Dougie, Sammy Lee in his short reign).

 

Still pretty depressing stuff though.

 

First 11 games of last two seasons have each seen 5 points on the board. To be brutally honest my main is to avoid that type of mess this year. Nothing more.

Correct, we've never beaten a team managed by Freedman, I was one one backed him, foolishly, to the very end!

They also absolutely battered us when Freedman was in charge of them

Except the 1-1 draw at home where mills equalised and Jamie Paterson scored for them.

Doesn't help we lost Ream and didn't have the funds to get the

Sense of perspective please. Anyone questioning Lennon's position can fuck right off - we don't need you. He's held his hand up to getting it wrong - though that said, he wasn't trying to be clever, having Madine and Clough both not fit enough to start obviously meant he had to make more changes. Boro will be right up there - having spent more on one player than we've spent in 3 years. We move on. NLSWA.

Just got back. It was bobbins from the first whistle. Lennon did nothing to change it which was concerning. Lets hope he has learnt from his mistake with the formation. Its still early doors, keep the faith.

Hard to change when limited and injured options. We need another centre mid beast and another quick striker, right were in a battle are we all going to roll our sleeves up and support the cause or just bleat like a bunch of little girls?
