Derby are no more than about a hundred miles from anywhere, they are a one club city and their nearest prem club is about 40 miles away. It grinds my gears when the likes of Derby and Forest bang on about their great away support its a piece of piss for them. Anything less than an away sell out for them is a disgrace. Anything more than 600 or so Bolton at Boro on Saturday is a fucking good effort Quote

Given most of our support is now season ticket holders who are used to paying 15 quid or so on average per game, it's unrealistic to expect them to stump up 30 quid plus travel to go away. Especially twice in 4 days to grounds 150 miles away. It's not just us, most clubs are struggling to take big away followings - unless they're on a roll eg Boro last season. Derby have only brought a thousand or so in previous seasons, last week was first game, new manager etc...they won't be taking 3.5k every week. Quote
