Feeney and Davies were superb. Derik and Prince looked pretty solid apart from the odd flap in possession. Madine would have had a hat trick if he used his left leg for anything other than standing up.

I really don't think we need much to finish upwards of mid-table or even playoffs, providing we find a decent number 9 and I really would like us to bring in a monster defensive midfielder. Danns is OK, Spearing & Medo out of favour, I just think we lack a bit of height and physicality in midfield.

Madine is shot of confidence,head went down after he missed that first chance. Thankless task up against that gorilla though it must be said.

 

Mavies halted their charge late in second half as we started to concede ground. He was brilliant.

 

Another defensively sound performance gives me great hope.

 

My biggest concern was a lad getting his hairspray confiscated on the way in to ESL. I said I really hope you were bringing that in to use as a weapon. Poor state of affairs.

Great game and performance, Moxey and davies were outstanding, good performances from Wilson prince Derek Feeney welly and vela when he came on. Madine works really hard for the team but will struggle to score more than 5 goals if he played all season.
