Needless to say, you had the last laugh.

Only by marriage mate. I'm pretty sure this one isn't even a distant relative.

Man mountain.

Their scum half is a tad quick.

burgess, best player in world rl

not even worth a start for england ru

says it all

this games a bit too clever for your thick northerners

This has actually been an enjoyable game, the extra point for scoring 4 tries is a good idea as well, keeps it interesting

fishing aside, the offloads burgess is capable of sets him apart as a class act

In fairness, it'll probably take him five years to learn the RU rules. And another five to understand how the rules are ignored by the referee to enable the ball to be in play for more than five minutes in any given game

Bookies have England with a 24pt start, so it should be a bit of a good hiding (I've decided to oppose that though, and have back Fiji +24.5)

Easy Money.........sort of

Not pretty but its a win. The quad substitution was interesting. Scrum all the better for it.

Of the 23 England players who were involved in today's match:

3 were born in the North West, 1 in the North East, 2 in Yorkshire,

2 in West Midlands, 2 in East Midlands, 2 in East Anglia,

3 in South West, 3 in South East, 2 in Greater London,

and 1 each in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

These rules not apply to sexuality or religion then?

Jesus Fucking Christ. There you are, I combined the two.

http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/rugby-world-cup-why-its-time-for-england-to-stop-singing-swing-low-sweet-chariot-10505568.html

Need to stop singing swing low apparently.

Even though it the article they cant confirm what the fuck it means, who first sang it and why England fans sing it at rugby.

But let's just stop singing it anyway as it might offend chariots or swinging low things.

Load of shite. I have seen a story somewhere where Lancashire cotton workers adopted the song in sympathy for the slave trade cotton pickers in the US. Spread from there.

Can't say if it's true or not but if it is, puts a different slant on it?

Fuck me - I just used the word 'slant'. Self sickened.

Anyway, I have been diverted.

I'm having to mute the TV or listen to god awful Aussie commentary. FFS - England v Fiji and all they want to talk about are the fooking Wallies.

Potential to spoil the entire tournament for me.

Its all too sickening tonight! We have sickened ourselves into Saturday!

I think all the populated continents are represented.

It's not baseball.

the 'world series' is named after a newspaper

That's the spirit Mags - class war! :-)

I'd like to see him spout that at the miners, farmers and trawlermen who play Union in southwest. Had for breakfast.

BTW come on England in the non M62 World Cup. Luv and hugs.

probably explains all the penalties we give away ;)

Miners????!!!! Funny you should say that though because having lived in the deepest darkest southwest for four years the only bloke I've talked rugby with is my barber, who can't be doing with union at all. Wise chap. You only have to look at the number of articles published regularly from union types who complain about just how boring their sport is. But so long as it's a jolly nice day out anyway.

Touch pause engage! Utter fucking pish.

Rugby ain't football. It's not something I'm overly arsed about.

Let's face it both codes are games for fat lads who weren't good enough at football.

Can someone remind me of the rules? I know you can only throw it backwards but that's about it really. Something about offside and collapsing the scrum? And if you kick it out you get a throw in but everyone lines up.

When a union ref is bored shitless at loads of big lads rolling around each other he allows forward passes and knock ons just so he can get a bit of a sweat on.

When he's fucked he blows a whistle for a penalty for something that happened an hour ago when Hugo gave ralph a dirty look in a ruck at which point one of the likkul lads hoofs it between tow posts from 3 furlongs which prompts a load of fucking herberts to sing a song about a chariot or sommat.

Unless your french in which case they play some fucking ace rugby.
