I'm a member, I've informed them they do not represent me in these actions.

What I don't get is that the Football League have given then information re the embargo, I guess it's therefore not a state secret. Why have the BN and Iles been onto them?

Personally I agree with mounts although the tactics of the trust can be questioned

the point about the trust seemingly going behind the clubs back is valid , having said that the 'books going in ' is a longer saga than

Emmerdale.

and is it really causing problems.we are owned by a business man and a chancer. sadly the trust love the chancer.

i trust the business man not to be losing money long term.

a trust is fine if they stay in the background until they are needed if they ever are. sadly these folk are wanting to make a name for themselves. why do they feel they are entitled to see this stuff. the way the company i work for is run is more important however i accept its nothing to do with me so dont send out pointless statements every 5 minutes.

Good! That is how supporters trust work, get involved get your points heard, there will be many members with same opinion as you, keep voicing your opinion/position? And at least you have a chance to be heard. At the end of the day the majority view point should be the way forward in discussions with the club but by walking away this means your opinion and one which could well be shared by many others in the trust is not heard.

Nah, they've got thousands of silent members when people were signing up their granny and pets as members. There's never going to be a majority telling them fo fucking pipe down, on that basis.

They can fuck the fuck off as far as I'm concerned. Their non-attendance at Sweaty Ken's Q&A session because they didn't get their own private meeting summed them up to me.

mr manning says some of the top bods were there, tbf (he doesnt consider himself one of them)

theyre not keen to state how many members (as in paid a tenner) that they have

i have my own thoughts why that may be

Interesting they saw fit not to make any comment on what was said that evening then?

shithouses.

Manning can be ok in person. sadly he seems to be a huge part of the clickbait crowd

how an organisation with so few paid up members has the brass neck to pass itself off as somehow representing the fans is beyond me

They strike me as a bunch who desperately want the club to fail under the current administration....almost so they can say "I told you so"

How any actually paid up the £10  -  has that figure been quoted? (Edit: Just seen that Casino addresses this above)

......it'll be interesting to see how many renew (if there is a renewal each year)

Didn't they waive the fee?

I reckon there's about 143 paid up members, 144 if you include Mounts' dog.

Didn't they waive the fee?

for renewers, i think

They strike me as a bunch who desperately want the club to fail under the current administration....almost so they can say "I told you so"

Do you really think so?

No doubt some might try to use it for their own agenda, but I'm sure overall they want the best for the club.

Its a young organisation and no doubt have made and will make mistakes; their tone does seem aggressive; but there are questions still out there about our finances etc and I don't have a problem with them speaking to the EFL for clarification of the rules etc.

Its very easy to be critical, and we've all witnessed what's gone on, but in fairness I'm not that arsed about going down to meetings, becoming a member and trying to get involved.

It is also impossible to represent everyone's view- they have to ultimately take a majority view from their members (I presume that's happened) and go with that.

I'm happy enough with sweaty ken's efforts so far, though yet to be convinced long term, and therefore he should be allowed to get on with it- don't have a problem with a group trying to ensure the clubs future if it does tits up again though.

So long as their methods are proper and not injurious to the current boards efforts that is.

What did they expect to do with any information once they got it?

Nothing positive, that's for sure.

I am a member and won't renew.

EFL state that we can't pay loan fees for players we sign on loan then we are told we have not paid Newcastle their loan fee for Ameobi. All as clear as mud.

I was a bit puzzled by that one as well. Unless its a case Newcastle let us have him for free so he got some game time and put himself in the window for a possible Janaury transfer? But now he's done well they're insisting on a fee for the second half of the season?

Someone talking sense, not a lot of sense on here as the subject seems to emotive for some to grasp the concept, guess that there would be more dissenting voices baying for action from the ST if we were mid table.

I'd say they're a bunch who are trying to undermine the current owners, not just so they can say " I told you so " but mostly because they are still desperate to achieve their dream of running the club.

To the ST whoppers, the best interests of the club come a long way behind their own self interest.

You might be right, but can you say it as fact or is just how you feel.

I genuinely don't know; either way, so will reserve judgement. Just as I'm doing with KA.

When the new owners took over, ST should have thrown their full support behind them & the club, & then if it was to go tits up ( it still might do ) they would have retained some credibility as people who had tried to support the club.

Instead, they sulked like bitches, have tried to undermine the owners & shit stirred against the club which has shown pretty clearly that their prime motivation is their self interest & their ambition for themselves to run the club......& not the best interests of the club.

That ☝????

I would say from a quick flick through their "statements" it's pretty obvious they are keen to be in the "I told you so" camp and undermine new owners
