Couldn't believe the prices, even at "heavily discounted" rates virtually everything was wildly overpriced. Duvet sets at £40 a pop after discount, wicker baskets at 30+ quid. No ones gonna pay those kind of prices for that. I live in the town centre and try to defend it where deserved, I like new places like the Coffee Grind near where the elephants used to be, but it was dismal on Saturday, completed by two Eastern European blokes having a punch-up in the middle of Great Moor Street with a load of gypos stood around egging them on £40 for a duvet set & that's expensive? You're looking at over £50 for the cheapest, plain, double duvet cover & 4 pillow cases at JLP, & that would be for less than 200 thread count. That's probably why JLP wouldn't work in Bolton

The housing around our town centre and in it, as well as the student accommodation being built next to the Jobcentreplus has really put the icing on the cake, wet clothes flapping outside Windows and the stink of weed isn't going to get it vibrant again. August 2, 201610 yr There's accomodation of all sorts in Manchester, and plenty of weed in the air, yet there's a Harvey Nics, Selfridges etc. and it's not a ghost town after 5pm, frequented only by pisscans in the Balmoral and bagheads shooting up in backstreets.

Used to go on school trips there in the 60's.

Provided of course that you can retain all your customers and they're happy to pay the increased prices. Thus far, we've been quite lucky and have happily increased prices on existing orders/projects and nobody has grumbled too much. The big affect is with projects being stalled and cancelled due to the e/r change - so whilst our current t/o may be around 10% up, this isn't going to help us with our budgeted 30% growth for the next 12 months

The Directors anticipate that the company's turnover will continue to increase during this current accounting year as it benefits from both the contribution of [ its recently opened ] Guildford store and increasing brand awareness in relation to it's product range" Has there been a massive downturn in the last 8 months or is it just Bolton that is suffering? #PrestonsofGuildford
