i hope youve got a dog

i didnt mind liver until one day i had a particularly spongy bit

never, ever again

Lambs liver, lightly cooked, is absolutely delicious. The Yew Tree at Anglezarke does it really well. Very high in cholesterol though and there are better ways to eat that stuff though.

Calfs liver, lightly braised with strips of pan fried Smokey bacon.

Served on a whole grain mustard & rosemary mash.

Drizzled with a reduced port wine jus.

Crispy fried leeks on top.

Magic!

Not far from Warrington, Altrincham is a good example of a town centre turned around in just a few years

It was in the national news not many years ago for the high % of shops being vacant, with the blame on the Trafford Centre and the Internet

However, I believe it's now thriving

Went to bolton market about 4pm today.

Was like something from downtown kabul.

Savage.

I shan't be rushing back.

Bury is better.

Shame, remember years ago my gran would get the 400 bus from Ashton under Lyme to go, in particular the fish market. Be numerous like-minded gippers doing the same, from Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale etc.

It is, actually enjoy going into Bury. It's busy but civil. Can't think why.

Looks like beals maybe on its way out of bolton. When you look at the clientele the town centre attracts, its no wonder.

It sounded like they want the rates reduced as opposed to moving out?

They've spent a shitload and there's still loads of empty shops - just some of the empty ones are nice new shiny ones now.

They've revamped the market hall into a food and drink place though -  that is very, very good.

He can fuck off then. There's plenty of other fruit and veg stalls on the market so he'll not be missed, treacle.

Yup he had a pop a few years ago about no one going in. That was just after all the cosmetic counters moved out.

They're supposed to be a Fred Perry and Ben Sherman stockist. They're lost in amongst overpriced old man market clothes.

The Craghopper department was good though.

i wpuldn't bother despite the signs advertising it there was a plain white shirt, a blue polo and a cardi as the full extent of their range,

Debenhams is usually pretty good for Fred Perry stuff though
