Whites man Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 i hope youve got a dog i didnt mind liver until one day i had a particularly spongy bit never, ever again Lambs liver, lightly cooked, is absolutely delicious. The Yew Tree at Anglezarke does it really well. Very high in cholesterol though and there are better ways to eat that stuff though. Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Calfs liver, lightly braised with strips of pan fried Smokey bacon. Served on a whole grain mustard & rosemary mash. Drizzled with a reduced port wine jus. Crispy fried leeks on top. Magic! Quote

jules_darby Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Not far from Warrington, Altrincham is a good example of a town centre turned around in just a few years It was in the national news not many years ago for the high % of shops being vacant, with the blame on the Trafford Centre and the Internet However, I believe it's now thriving Quote

I shan't be rushing back. Bury is better. Shame, remember years ago my gran would get the 400 bus from Ashton under Lyme to go, in particular the fish market. Be numerous like-minded gippers doing the same, from Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale etc. Quote

They've revamped the market hall into a food and drink place though - that is very, very good. Quote

They're supposed to be a Fred Perry and Ben Sherman stockist. They're lost in amongst overpriced old man market clothes. The Craghopper department was good though. Quote
