birch-chorley Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 That isn't an option. The option is the club still existing under new owners or the club being liquidated. If holdsworth and co don't have a pot to piss and aren't going to pump any money in then I don't see how the situation is any different from the current one Quote
Dr Faustus Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Trouble is pal, nightclub shuts in 1/2 hour and we've not got a taxi booked and the bouncer and his mates are stood at the door glaring at us cos the fat bird is his sister. So if nothing moves in the next half hour, we are looking at knocking one out to Babestation, with the shame and self loathing that follows? I'm glad this is finally in terms I can relate to. Quote
deane koontz Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Imagine baking a cake and throughout the initial stages of the recipe, booing the chef, telling him his ingredients aren't good enough. 'This cake's shite, it's not sweet and it's not cooked properly'. Well maybe not, but maybe he's not added the sugar or switched the oven on yet. Maybe he's been too busy cleaning up the mess the last chef made of the kitchen. Quote

You know your mates have come in after you and will have seen you as well. But always in life their are choices, so finish the kebab know or wait till morning. And next weekend will be here soon enough to go through the same cycle. Quote

clown Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Imagine buying a club that's bottom of the league with no money and having a manager on half a million a year and NOT getting shut. Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 No up to us though Mounts is it? I'm not saying I want admin, far from it it will be disastrous. The players & manager have thrown the towel in well before the fans. Can't see anyone coming in and spending £20 -£30 million just to pay off the debts of the current lot. They are going to wait for administration and pick the club up for far cheaper Why are we still talking about administration? Hasn't that boat sailed? It's a winding up order we're facing in a couple of weeks, if someone doesn't take over, or players aren't sold in order to pay HMRC they'll be nothing left to pick up far cheaper! Quote
Casino Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 we can still go into admin tax man is after warby (secured loans) and the players i expect the winding up hearing to be adjourned Quote

Casino Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 put it this way, its not cos we decide the rules plenty googling, done in an effort to have a bit of an idea whats going on rather than chucking my toys out of the pram at every turn, shows we that in this scenario a club will have preferential and non preferential creditors secured loans and football debts (wages/fees etc) come before non preferential creditors that group (non pref) involves hmrc dunno if players are before secured creditors, such as warby and the 5million loan (assuming thats still outstanding) be funny as fcuk if any of eddies loans are secured facebook will go into meltdown one of many articles http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/news/9290081/Football-creditors-rule-declared-lawful-in-High-Court-meaning-players-can-still-pick-up-bumper-pay-packets.html Quote

I don't think we've done either I'm hoping, like Northampton, that it is adjourned. I'm not throwing my toys out the pram, I asked questions & pointed out facts. Quote
Casino Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 i didnt mean you you're relatively sane you do raise a good point tho the fact that we could at any time go into admin that wont sit well with the twitterati who reckon thats what was planned all along and that ED doesnt want to sell Quote

HR Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Do super creditors include secured debtors and do they get to wear a cape like the players? we could do with a kit change. Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I don't think we would be wound up as long as the value of assets out weighs the debt If you count ED's £180m were fucked but if that's paper debt and he's happy with £15m then selling off playing staff, lostock, Euxton & the Macron would more than cover the creditors I don't see why we would end up completely wound up and finished in current form Administration with a fire sale that would see us left with no assets is the worst case scenario Quote

LeggyMountbatten Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Main points below - some points are things known about already: Tax bill is £2.2 million - need to find it in two weeks Davies to sell for £1 but all interested parties have backed away apart from one new foreign group Annual wage bill £27m - losing £1m per month £15m to keep the club going until the end of the season Club trying to sell the car park to raise cash - part of car park already sold for £6m Kevin Davies trying to find investors for the club Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Wage bill of 27 million that cannot be possible. I am calling that figure utter drivel. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 All this crap news coming out and its only the innocent fans who are suffering. The crap players will get snapped up by some mugs - admittedly on less money but the vermin responsible for running the club will still live their fancy flash lifestyles even if the club goes in to liquidation. They should be strung up Quote
