Guest Blixa Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I think I'd look decent against us most weekends. Which underlines the point that he's not one of the worst of last decade. Quote
LeggyMountbatten Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Terry Robinson the ex Bury chairman has been brought in to sell players to raise cash Quote
Biggish Dave Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I hope his knowledge of the lower leagues helps get shut of Dervite, Trotter and Medo. Them are my wish list to go first please Terry Quote

Zico Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 There's also this. Coyle's signings for an established premier league club & with millions to spend.... Robinson..Robbie Blake..Petrov..Klasnic..Eaves..Wheater..Reo-Coker..Pratley..Eagles..Mears..Ngog..Ream..Sordell..Wylde..Andrews.. Not one of them has gone on to play in the premier league. Whilst he was generally shit at signing players you missed holden off that list He didn't sign klasnic and Robinson initially Andrews was a championship signing (on Pl wages mind) Quote
burnden Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Why do we need to bring anyone in to sell players?? Quote
no balls Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I didn't think Robinson was that shit. Women know nowt about football though to be fair. Quote
MalcolmW Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Why do we need to bring anyone in to sell players?? because the Chairman is too unwell to work, and TB is busy trying to sell the club - not players. Quote
burnden Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) Seems pointless to me paying out another wage we can't afford Malc. Surely the other board members could step in to do it? Edited December 30, 2015 by burnden Quote
Horwich Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Seems like we have sold the offices Not sure if its already been posted Quote

Surely the other board members could step in to do it? havent we been trying to shift em a good while with no joy each passing week costs 10's of thousands plus id say it would be cash well spent any of the moaners thought it might (well, will be, otherwise birch wouldnt sanction it) be cheaper than leaving to to agents? Rembrandt Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I didn't think Robinson was that shit. Women know nowt about football though to be fair. That's more or less what PG said at Crawley. Quote
DazBob Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Robinson served us really well until his last season when he was horrendously bad, yet plenty of thickos thought it was all Petrov's fault. Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Isn't it quite a specialist role completing transfers. A lot was said last year about Utds new chairman lacking experience and know how, think even Real Madrid found it difficult and commented. I imagine it isn't quite as simple as Football Manager makes it - in fact that game has a lot to answer for! Quote

Mind you, it's not too easy as a few years ago I covered the secretary work at a non-league club for all of a fortnight because of holidays and managed to get reported to the FA. Whoops. Quote

Whites man Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I think we only signed Robinson because we had too many loanees. I do not think Robinson would make the top 25 If we listed shit signings of last 10 years His performance against Macclesfield in the cup game was as bad as it gets, against a 4th Division winger. emus wig Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Performance at wembley was shocking but he want on his own there ! Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Hahha what did you get up to?Illegal approach for a player. Sadly no bungs involved. Quote
