January 4, 201610 yr Sick and tired of this waiting game nobody is going to buy us so let's get on with administration and start all over again, that's if we still have a club.
January 4, 201610 yr So why are the club still in negotiations. Surely new investors are playing a waiting game to get the club as cheap as possible. which will hopefully happen just before 16th of January.
January 4, 201610 yr Author how cheap are they waiting for it to be? It's up for a £1 now according to the Sun. Edited January 4, 201610 yr by Mounts Kipper
January 4, 201610 yr According to reports Holdsworths lot have pulled out! A lot of people had said they didn't want Holdsworth and his Consortium involved......so at least they'll be happy
January 4, 201610 yr It's up for a £1 now according to the Sun. Cheaper than a holiday in the same rag
January 5, 201610 yr Think I raise about 35,000,000 Turkish Lire - is it worth putting a bid in? Saint Eddie doesn't want any foreign muck. Edited January 5, 201610 yr by Rembrandt
January 5, 201610 yr Suspect after paying £1 a new buyer would have to assume debt to third parties. In addition to funding the club until costs are reduced to income. Sounds bleak, wonder if there's something in a redeemable preference share deal with a repayment kicker if we got to the Premiership. Some may think that it's a long shot, but you just have to be well organised to get there.

January 6, 201610 yr I think we should consider other assets to sell At the moment a Macron Safari with that loon of an American dentist and Lofty Jr may raise some cash
January 6, 201610 yr one for folk who know, rather than guessers if we go into admin, things get sold to pay off the preferred creditors players and secured loans lets say thats 20 million ish other creditors are at lets say keeping it simple, 185 million 183 million to ED and 2 million to the queen and a few bits and bobs elsewhere am i a million miles off if i see that as not a bad outcome if ED was just in it for what he could get back

Admin wouldnt be a bad result for Our Eddie
January 6, 201610 yr I posted something similar a few weeks back, if we go into admin will Eddie recoup some of his debts or do the administrators take into account the fact he has publicly stated that he will write these off to make a sale? If not then going into admin will benefit him more than a sale presumably and so the writing off the debt talk could be to save some face?
January 6, 201610 yr As things stand, there's no sale to be had and administration looks like Hobson's Choice. That said, Eddie's no worse off if that happens.
January 6, 201610 yr That said, Eddie's no worse off if that happens. not that he's better off at the moment, hes got nothing

January 6, 201610 yr football goes out of the window admin to sort the business finances new cleaner setup is then sold - albeit a league 1 club Edited January 6, 201610 yr by HomerJay
January 6, 201610 yr Author What happens to the players contracts in administration? do they get paid up for the full left on their contract? If so that would be serious money.
January 6, 201610 yr if theyre sold it will depend on the terms of the deal if they cant be sold, i dunno good question
January 6, 201610 yr What happens to the players contracts in administration? do they get paid up for the full left on their contract? If so that would be serious money. They become preferential creditors, but would still only received an agreed percentage of what's owed.
