Bolton V Cardiff

Featured Replies

It's all just utterly depressing, the luck for their goal after a great save from Amos, the lack of luck for us in front of goal.

I've only just got around to checking scores, so one positive today is that MK, Bristol, Rotherham and Charlton all lost. We're not down yet however bad it feels right now.

We are terrible and if we don't go down it will be a gift from the gods

Fucking coywm

Play with that effort and commitment like today and we'll stay up. I can't fault any of them apart from Dobbie pulling out of a tackle.

And the bloke sat behind me as Madine received the ball before his goal, he got to the s of shite as the ball flew in 'don't pass to him he's shite'.[/quote

I must admit when the ball went to him I shouted ' what the fuck are you doing on the wing - get in the box"

The rest is history

ill keep it brief

best ive seen pratley this season - he needs to stay central

we had a pretty solid back four early season - only one of em is starting now

im a better full back than joshy

we're definitely not getting the breaks

its not lennons fault we miss sitters

its not lennons fault their second goal had a massive slice of luck

its probably lennons fault that cardiff continually played balls forward, they kept running and in behind our defence

lennons arse licker mcginlay kept commenting on the lack of structure to our defence but never once twigged that his mate is paid to organise them

I thought Pratley was utter utter garbage . Weird how folk see different things.. Looked like he was playing with a nail in his shoe.

The massive slice of luck for their second was secondary to the fact the lad waltzed in unchallenged through the middle. Again.

Sitters yes. Dobbies was unreal.

I've not been so much this season through work, so maybe I saw things differently.

With two hold up donkeys up front, why aren't we just hoofing it up to them at every opportunity, ala Wimbledon?

Can't be any less effective than what we are doing now?

Someone like Warnock would keep this squad in the division.

We need to be a lot smarter, I watched Kenwyne Jones bullying everyone today, every time the ball came near him, roughing the defender up. Someone like Wheater should have the nouse to whack him hard in the first five, and remind them they're in Bolton. It's Lennon's job to make sure he knows that. They got away with shirt pulling and pushing in the back all game. It's gamesmanship but in the real world, it goes on.

Get a reducer in early doors?

It did

As has already been said...

The flag went up for a goal kick.

Costly miss by Dobbie.

A lot of stick for vela again, wasn't his best game but did well going forward, playing out of position doesn't help but he's only 21 and he's only going to get better. Ameobi was crap he was the only one who didn't look interested. Everyone else put in a shift especially danns who was excellent. Interesting to note only 4 players who started yesterday were signed by lennon, what happened to making his own team. Well done to those who turned up yesterday and got behind the team, shame on the rest of the Bolton public who couldn't be arsed in our hour of need, we'll no doubt see you all when the good times roll again. See it's funny because I thought Danns was shite despite a lot of effort

Fuck me, what a depressing thread.

Keep the faith and keep supporting. Was a decent atmosphere at times yesterday.

Anyhow, as Madine received that pass I said, 'go inside and do an Anelka' (v Arsenal)

The Dobbie miss, if that goes in we win.

I think one of our problems is were not tall or strong enough. Every team we play seems to be full of 6 foot, strong lads.

Defo had his flag up.

Deffo didn't! Although I thought he was off. It would have stood!

I know!

For a goal kick. I stand corrected. I wish we'd scored..

I'd consoled myself with the fact it was offside, now you've told me it wasn't my Sunday's ruined.

Can't understand the Lennon out shouts. What he has had to work with is ridiculous.

If we had any sort of money I don't think we would of signed any of the players he has signed. We have ameobi heskey dobbie and madine as striking options.

While I concede some of lennons decisions are odd, imo he hasn't had a fair crack of the whip yet.

I'm saying beggars can't be choosers. Proper strikers cost money, even in this league. He hasn't had proper money. And please don't bother saying How do I know money isn't available? Like someone did earlier in the season. We have moved past that now, we are bottom of the league, no hope and totally skint. The players he inherited are crap and he hasn't been given anything like enough money to do anything about it

Correct. If we had a striker we'd be mid table. He's been shafted by Davies and Gartside. He's spent nowt!

Vela will be a good centre mid in league one - we were chatting in pub compare characters from riochs era to this shower it's soul destroying

He's spent nothing and brought fucking money in from selling players. He's been done over and misled about what he could do this season.

He was still pissing about trying to bring 2 in at the start of December, we know how that went.

He's not had a fair crack at it.

17.30.hrs .

Moral at rock bottom.

No way will Whispering Bob travel to Hull now.

18.00.pub packed .

Beer kicking in.

Grumpy Bat " Its all sorted Deano is buying the Wanderers and Kevin Nolan will sign before the window slams shut"

18.30 Sputnik Stan slowly realises he won't be staying out till dawn with Ashburner Street Market Fish Stall Face , as his very own Stacia has turned up. She is a lovely woman with the patience of a saint.

19.00 hrs.

Someone parks a big pink dream machine in the centre of the pub.

The Squelcher looks longingly at it.

Imagination the vibration at 100mph.

Who's parked a bloody big table right in the middle of it.

Serious bit ( The buy out must go ahead this week , which clears the debt. Unfortunately Neil Lennon must go , Phil Brown I feal could keep this group of players up.)

its not just about money, he had a half decent squad to work with. I thought Rotherham were the rubbing rags of this league but they have more about them than us.

He had a better squad being the key point mate. Has lost better players and replaced with much cheaper options

It did

No it didn't I'm sat directly behind too. I looking for the flag. It would have stood! !!! We're you on shrooms?

hmm I see your argument but 1 win is a joke like I said there's teams around us who seem to have more about them

Not sure how you can say he's been shafted. He's brought in madine, shola, Dobbie, silva, Casado, amos, rachubka, prince, Derek, Pisano, Wilson and Brattan.

And that's just this season.

And the bulk of them can't get in the side, perhaps if he hadn't bought so much pish he'd have the money for a strikers wages.
