I know they mentioned a potential trade deal yesterday, that would be ideal if we can get that over the line  @bolty58 would be gutted if Starmer managed to do it though 😉

The one that has been muted previously was only predicted to add 0.2% to GDP over 15 years. So he's going to have to go some if he wants to really improve things.

But at least we might avoid the tariffs.

Trump did say something about Brexit yesterday, along the lines of it being a good thing even if it takes centuries to work out.

Centuries.

Even Rees-Mogg said it would only take 50 years to see the benefits, and we're almost a fifth of the way there now.

Obviously, the devil will be in the detail, and you'd have to be insane to get excited about anything that Trump says off the cuff. Fingers crossed though that Starmer can sort some sort of trade deal, as the previous lot didn't manage to, or indeed even get close to agreeing one

I thought Starmer would get bummed by Trump but he handled it very well so a pleasant surprise.

He played a blinder, and made a lot of his critics look like the daft hypocrites they are. It would be silly to believe anything Trump said in response though. He basically just agrees with whatever the last person he spoke to said, hence him pretending he never called Zelenskyy a dictator.

They must have given Elon Musk a rubiks cube and a big tub of ice cream yesterday so he didn’t have to explain to Sir Keir why he’s been acting the cunt about him on Twitter.

The fucking creepy coward.

As did I, whilst I'm not fan of Starmer, to my mind he seemed to handle Trump a lot better than I can imagine somebody like Johnson, Truss or Badenoch doing

Yep. Literally everything he says is throwaway based on what his whims are at the time.

I'm not getting too excited.

Starmer seemingly getting along with Trump and performing well in front of the world's press is proper boiling the piss of all the gammons on X. It's beautiful. Some say it's the most beautiful thing they've ever seen.

There seems to be an awful lot of them posting pics of Starmer as a clown and saying he's a liar and we don't have free speech, whilst quite obviously speaking freely.

They have to be bots surely? No one is that numb.

You know they are that numb.

Did Trump endorse Starmer?

Or just acknowledge that he’s good at his job?

Or is trump busy worrying about those Epstein files?

Yep.

Like you keep reminding us, Trump is a liar.

I doubt it.

Nope

Yep

Pity

The UK contingent of the Trump Cult have absolutely lost their minds over the last 24 hours. They don't know what direction to face. Pathetic.

Why does Trump repeat the lie that Macron corrected?

Because he's a simple bullshitter.

And now the Trump-lovers will say "So he was lying when he praised Kier Starmer?". And the obvious answer is yes. He has no respect for Keir Starmer or King Charles, or Macron, or anyone else. He has no idea what the fuck he's talking about, and says whatever pops into his head at the time, whether it's true or not. If he has a meeting with Putin tomorrow, on Sunday he'll repeat whatever Putin told him.

😂😂

^ And there's one of them now, lost for words because I'm right, but unable to admit it because he's unwittingly joined a cult.

He'll think they're lying
