My answer touches on something I feel quite strongly about... the only reason is it's because "they" can, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to security, except a one in a zillionth chance of some brain dead psycho being picked up... but if you can't spot those without this system you really should be doing something else for a job.

I've been banging on about this for years, these days you can't walk onto a major construction site without surrendering your biometrics, what has that got to do with safety?.. I just tell them to eff off and the minimum wage twats on the gate don't know what to do. Some c**t in a site "safety" induction asked me for my NI number, I'll leave you to imagine what my reply was.

Trouble is 99.99% just go with the flow and obey, we have become so used to surrendering our personal data electronically that we are losing our freedom... going on sites these dates is not unlike walking into a prison and everyone is so colourless and unhappy.

The social media law isn’t in yet cocker. If you was that upset about people being banned (whoever they are as 1000s of Palestine supporters are entering everyday) because of their beliefs you would have posted about it months ago. I’m guessing you didn’t. You daft spacca. I’ll leave you to it now, one has a plane to board, I’ll leave you to your hypocrisy.

call me a cynic but I don't think they'll root out any terrorists or terrorist supporters with this policy and they are far more likely to stop people going to the US who've said offensive stuff about Trump

Once again you can’t answer why they want to ban people based on political views & harmless jobs in fact checking. So instead you’re claiming it’s not happening (or won’t happen) because it isn’t happening to everyone 🙄 Some top level logic there pal.

I don't really argue any more. Gave it up a couple of years ago when I realised I was doing my own head in. Still disagree with folk on a regular basis, but can't be arsed with the endless, pointless back and forth. London and Royal would be a better example these days.
