I just don't think Steve Cotterill is a "big enough" character to be successful at Bolton.I think he'd be another one overwhelemed by it.At clubs of similar size he resigned at Stoke after 13 months and was sacked at Forest in less than a year.

Peter Reid on the other hand.His playing career speaks for itself.He was Bolton's best midfield player of the 1970s and as a manager anybody who could last nearly 8 years managing a club the size of Sunderland will have the strength of character and personal skills needed to manage Bolton.

Is Holdsworth also a qualified physio, groundsman, done his Food Hygiene course? The way this is going, looks like he'll be keeping the budget down by doing every bugger's job

He said in that interview when he first joined that he certainly does not want to be the manager.

Thanks Mounts. Kent White is wrong in that I am not seeking thanks or approval from anyone, we all have our own opinions it's all par for the course. I piss people off, Happy Clappers and the ED fan club piss me off a little but we are all Bolton fans.

Having said that from your posts you do come across as someone I would enjoy a pint or two with, who knows may have already done so in the past.

I will be there next season, hopefully no where near Cheese (won't be hard) but I have had a lot of the hope bashed out of me this season so apologies If i come across as miserable but if Dean Holdsworth becomes next manager I reserve that right.

 

PS Only joking about Owen Oyston (and KOKO) but at  least the supporters seem to have a common purpose there for what good its doing them on the pitch
