Regarding ex-managers it was a shocking night on TV and radio last night.

Lennon was on five live summarising with Alex McCoist among others.

And I nearly bashed the radio in when he remarked that 'A team is only as good as it's forwards'.!!!!!

Then I looked on Sky and there was Freedman talking about the psychology of Big Sam and how he keeps it simple!!!

May well have got my timelines wrong, but hadn't Southampton just come out of administration and had promising young players (Bale, Walcott etc) coming through? Encouraging parallels, though it seems he didn't do well at Sheff Utd.
