Thanks for banging on about it. We're all eternally grateful for your insight

  • I like how they have voted Chris Powell as their first choice.   Not many clubs can say they have had two black managers in a row.

We don't actually need anybody in situ before pre-season training starts.

The new man will be a glorified coach at best.

Sweaty Ken is handling transfers, the new guy gets to take training and help pick the team assembled from Ken's loanees, all of who have Ken as their agent.

I did wonder if not having a manager in place made it easier to have the great big clearout of players we had......a manager would have wanted to have a say in that.

I  would still prefer a manager with recent experience & some success in the lower leagues, which rules Reid out, but in his favour, he's available, cheap, local, clearly wants the job & at least knows a bit about the remaining players from the last couple of months. ( Being an ex-player is a complete irrelevance to me )

The more i think about it the more it must already be Reidy's gig

But we're not paying him the manager's rate until the latest possible start date

He's probably already been involved in the decision making of the player clear out too.

So behind the scenes he's probably already 'managing'

Rotherham parted company with the management team.

Worth a punt ?

Neil Warnock Super White Army !

I doubt we could offer him enough money.

Off to Blackburn would be my guess

The idea of Reidy being our next manager is slowly growing on me.

I suppose it's a bit like finding out you've got herpes.

You've secretly known it for weeks, you're stuck with it and there's fuck all you can do about it.

Charlton I heard

Are you saying these antibiotics won't do any good?

And it grows on you?

Browny.

I've heard he's just been potted and got on a stagecoach back oop North. (if you are reading sky bet, slash th'odds and let me cash out)

Neil McDonald has left Blackpool.

I'm surprised he lasted that long. Thankless task

That's where I'm at

Reidy ticks my boxes though

We need a nasty bastard who'll call an overpaid useless cunt an overpaid useless cunt and I have no doubt that he'd do that

Him with JP as number 2 feeding players through from the academy - them players were the only bright point this season

It's fine wanting someone with experience in the lower leagues. They've got that experience for a reason. Plus, if they are any good there's probably a massive queue ahead of us of clubs that can afford them

are their any 'academy' players left

i really hope we're not relying on them and ex player mafia
