2016/2017 Season Tickets

They're still costing up I've heard.

There will be a whole new coat structure. The upper tiers will be "mothballed" and all the seats are being ripped out of NSL to allow for terracing, which will be excellent

What about the red seats? Are they going too?

I'd say something like renew at the same price, £20 quid off the new shirt in the club shop (hardly any will get redeemed so good ploy and keeps the kids in) and £100 quid off if we go up next season.

Was walking next to a bloke on the way home from the match on Saturday and he was threatening to cancel his ST. My sound advice was "don't do it, you'll only end up cushion shopping with the mrs".

They'll be the same price as this year, but you'll get free entry to a John Stones Paint game.

The JPT fakes could be only second time I've missed a home game while I'm in the uk, I really can't face the JPT matches next season.

just go on holiday as not to spoil your record

it's not called the JPT trophy next season so you'll be reet!

My Dad went to the JPT final on Sunday with my Brother in Law who is an Oxford fan. Atmosphere was excellent apparently. There's life in Div 1 / Div 2!

How many st holders are we expecting next season? 7 thousand?

The club need to get really clever with marketing I reckon.

Our cheapest is already cheaper than fair few of them right?

Keep STs at rhe same price, fans to show SS they back the club for immediate championship return. In return SS need to find a way to forge us a different and winning team.

A winning team will bring the fans in more than cheap tickets I bet

They need to sell an entirely different product, as that's what we've got. If they try to sell with everything as it is now, but with League One football, then it's not happening.

Nazi stewards, shit catering, piss poor pre-match and HT entertainment, making you fuck off the moment the final whistle goes, £6 parking, pretty much everything that makes a god awful match day experience, it all needs to change. And this is what I personally want the ST to tackle.

As bad as what they have served up on the pitch all these things are why crowds have dropped season after season since the club moved to Horwhich

See it has been proven reducing the prices can work. Bradford and huddersfield recent example. Agree with Carlos so much more to this than just price. Also like casinos idea

Wonder if they can do something over the next month along the lines of if we get 15000 season ticket sales the cost will be £200 each but if it doesn't reach that barrier then they can't reduce them.

Is that what Bradford did? Set quite a high target for sales but with incentive to the town.

Also agree with Carlos other things need changing too.

I think the location is irrelevant, it's modern football in the higher leagues

Edited by no balls

Location has fuck all to do with anything.

Our crowds are the same as they were 20 years ago.

For every cock end not prepared to travel 10 minutes on a bus out of Bolton we gained a fan from Chorley/leyland and beyond that would.

Biggest problem for me is the amount of midweek games, just not viable to get one

Crowds went up after the move

Well in the pl anyway

Aye that's my barrier to renewal. Banged on about it before, but a buy-back scheme for up to 6 games a year would work. They don't even need to shell out cash, just take it off next years one, which is what West Ham do. Would even soften the blow for local-based fans  if they insist on not reducing prices from this year. In a long term sense, keeping people buying STs is a must - once you stop having one and then pick and chose then it's a slippery slope. Maybe not if we get a good start and show we can make a go of it. But if we stagnate then you can't blame people for getting really picky about the home games they go to, especially with new grounds to go to away.

We had 10k v forest in that 4-3er in 1st div in 1993.

yeah

Aye, WHU fans were whinging about that out of the blue the club decided the reduction didn't apply next year in the new ground, so STs would be full price despite whatever had been bought back. Fuck 'em!
