Development squad players Tom Eaves, Jordan Lussey, Ross Fitzsimons, Quade Taylor, Harry Campbell, Jon Ceberio, Channing Campbell-Young, Jamie Thomas, Yvan Wassi and Chris Cvetko are also on the list of players leaving.

Releasing threlkeld and maher is a very worrying sign. Showed promise, can't have been on big wages.

Threlkeld is shite, I'd be more worried if he was staying.

Looking at that list it's good that Chris eaves is staying

More importantly, what have we saved in wages per week?

Though it's a shame Quade Taylor is leaving

If he turned out to be decent then there's the total recall chant for him

It's only one word so would easily catch one

Hand movements are optional

I had high hopes for a few of those. Jamie Thomas especially.

Surprised at some of the youngsters we let go, especially Jamie Thomas. Hasn't even been given a chance.

We gonna have anyone left at this rate!

The only one I'd like to have re-signed would have been Feeney but other than that don't think many will be missed.

They can all fuck off.

Rubbish bastards.

What a career tom eaves has had for us.

Glad to see the back of Danns, Wheater, Heskey and White. Very surprised Maher, Threlkeld and Thomas are going. The first acts of Holdsworth's reign as manager?

Wigan wanderers will be in for a few of them.

I'm just glad this "joke" will finally stop.

I had high hopes for a few of those. Jamie Thomas especially.

Thomas Sounded like a good prospect but likely to be behind Madine, Clayton, Newall and Samizedah plus any other forward we sign.

Be happier when Davies, Trotter ,Dervite and Pratley have gone they are costing a fortune in wages.

I'm just glad this "joke" will finally stop.

Don't worry, we'll never stop with the skewed view

I'm just glad this "joke" will finally stop.

Maybe your view of the joke is skewed?

Surprised maher is off but then I did hear from a good source that he would sign 'if they offer me 1500 a week'

Writing was on the bog wall from then on

I'm just glad this "joke" will finally stop.

You are the gift that keeps on giving

I'm a little bit surprised to see a couple of the youngsters shown the door, but we badly need a full rebuild.

Pretty shocked at that. Has anyone got a comprehensive list of the players who are staying?

It's easy done, get a list of all the squad then use a pen to cross off those being released
