Malcolm, if daf doesn't win the 200 is she going to revert and dominate the heptathlon?

Possibly, but I doubt it.

Her best ever score would have only achieved fifth in Rio, only 22 points above what KJT achieved with 2 poor events.

And she no longer holds the Dutch record.

Aye. Let's quote The Guardian. The LOV Suite of mass journalism. Sniping left wing wankers who will find bad out of anything good

  • All I care about is finishing above Australia in the medal table.

  • I bet Bolt is kicking himself that he was not more dedicated.   He could have been the most iconic athlete in the world if he had tried

Gold in t'dancing horses.

:D

Whilst the investment is obviously crucial, 2012 meant that it could be pulled in with a justification behind it. If we hadn't had the Olympics and been succesful the funding wouldn't have followed, hence, legacy. Fair enough, hand in hand, but the Guardian's sniping isn't something that I would quote

The 'legacy' is supposed to be about more than just how well we do at the next Olympics though. Pleasing though that might be.

didn't realise that

thought she wouldve been streets ahead of the rest

Didn't think it sniped at all, which was why I referenced my point with it.

The cold hard fact is that funding=medals

Fastest this year so far:

41.62 Germany

41.81 GB

42.04 Netherlands

Add from last year:

41.07 Jamaica

41.68 USA.

DAS is 8th fastest this year. Then again, Hitchon was 19th ranked in the Hammer, but moved up to 4th with today's mark.

This onnimunmumuumum thing isn't good

Think Mark Cavendish has been watching rollerball

Broken collar bone...ouch!

Utterly disgraceful

Completely nuts that race.

They should do the velodrome events on Raleigh Choppers and Grifters.

Extra points for pulling wheelies

Is that not the BMX competition? :D

I think the wimmin's omnium is near the clitoris but I'm not sure.

There was a documentary around the time of the London games which showed in forensic detail how a 100m race is run. Very interesting. It's all about who slows down most efficiently. They spend very little of the race at full whack.

Unreal sprint from Laura Trott, got to have a shout of a medal if I had a clue of the rules in omnium.

Reckon her and Our Jason wear their medals when they're in bed?

Give me a shout should the Italian national anthem ever finish

Peter Sagan is doing the BMX (for Slovakia).

Give me a shout should the Italian national anthem ever finishes

Best anthem going I reckon, though miles better when it's being belted out by a big crowd rather than just the instrumental version.

This omnium pursuit is ace. Her indoors naturally feels for those at the back who are ruled out. I reckon its down to schooling and equalisation of the egg and spoon and sack race.

She is indeed

And a thoroughly sound bloke to boot. I bet he's a pipe smoker
