Mark Davies

I've been his biggest of critics. Slated him and hoped he'd never play for us again.

But not in these circumstances. Wish him all the best in his recovery. He's a human being after all and the lad must be fucking crushed.

Good luck mark lad. Hope you salvage a career out of what you have left.

I am gutted. Couldn't give a fuck what folk think of him. Most talented footballer we've had had in years and I love watching play.

Most talented player yes, which is exactly why I hated watching him play, nowhere near the required amount of effort to match his ability for me.

Not to say I'm not gutted for him, horrible injury by the sounds of it, wish him a good recovery and hope he can get back into football elsewhere next season.

More importantly, who now fills his role? Gutted for the lad though, after years of inconsistencies, false starts and frustrating performances the lad was showing his worth in these short few games with Parky.

Hes an injury waiting to happen, I wince every time he's in a tackle.

He's actually been living up to his reputation so far this season and playing well so this is a big blow for us.

Trying to find out some info on the injury, is it supposed to be a bad one? knee, leg, ankle??

Massive blow this. Whatever his failings have been in the past - he started off this season very well. And our injuries are robbing us of the quality we need to get out of this league at the first time of asking.

That midfield looks dangerously thin now. What's Kevin Nolan up to?

still be better value than petrov

Sad but inevitable news he was never going to last even 1/2 a season can't see him in a white shirt again.

Don't buy that "he loves the club" but has started well this season and don't want any Bolton player to get a bad injury like he did today.

What the fuck was wondering out there any way.

Shame for Mavies and us. I was actually wanting Mavies to go out on loan for the remainder of his contract with us to save us a fortune, but it's bad news all around.

Surely this was Mavies's last game for us? I wish him all the best for his future career though.

Has he defo done his cruciate?

Looks like we're lumbered with his wages now

Lad must be feeling in a pit. I did when I did my cruciate.

Hope that it's not too serious and that he can play again.

Depending on the diagnosis, it might be in everyone's best interests to give him a golden handshake. Not sure if that's one of Gonzo's specialities.

Looks like we're lumbered with his wages now

Yea, bet he's sat at home now laughing his cock off at us.

Looks like we're lumbered with his wages now

Coyle will still take him.

Anyway, given his injury history might it be possible that there is some sort of insurance that will cover his wages; bit like critical injury.

On a human level I genuinely feel for him as a Bolton fan I'm glad it's the last fucking ground hog day we'll have with this mon

Yea, bet he's sat at home now laughing his cock off at us.

on his good wages, yeah probably

Absolute bullshit.

Absolute bullshit.

What is?

I cant stand him.

Wouldnt wish an injury like that on anyone.

Soppy sod

I don't think he's sat at home laughing at us, counting his money. Such suggestions are fucking ludicrous.

The lad has had another bad injury you've got to feel something for him. He has massively underperformed for us, but was playing well so far this season and as for his wages, you'd sign that contract if offered to you.

We're better off with a fit Mark Davies than an injured one, if we're still having to pay his wages

We must sign someone to fill the gap.

Mercenery.

In our hour of need last season, and in his only fit season he didn't give a flying fuck.

I'll never forget him being hauled off in the embarrassment at Bristol City.

Let's not forget Sheff Wed bid too.

You reap what you sow.

If it was a different player we'd be calling Wednesday a shower of cunts for pissing us about.

Funny how folk believe what they want to suit circumstances.

Top and bottom of it is that he's our best player and this is going to leave a big hole in our midfield.
