Really missed Spearing and Derik in midfield today and without wanting to jump on the C Taylor bandwagon I will anyway, that yonner really is toilet.

Chris Taylor fucking hell hes never ever ever a footballer.

I've never got Chris Taylor either, the ex Blackburn manager Bowyer (who managed Taylor at Blackburn) lives just around the corner from me, I bumped into Bowyer a couple of months ago walking the dog and asked him about Taylor and I said is Taylor any good, because he doesn't seemed to have settled at Bolton.

Madines performances recently almost had me turning my opinion on him, unfortunately he returned to his usual performance today.

 

What you don't see watching his performance ont Tele is his movement off the ball, today was shite, not interested, a pedestrian at best. Reverted back to the norm, which was shite & unacceptable crying out for Parky's usual 60 minutes change, that didn't happen.

 

The injuries in midfield shows, again, that Parky hasn't a clue & is hoping the better quality players we have for this division should walk us through, but without them we're fooked & he hasn't got the answers, nor will he improve the fringe players.

 

Now we've also potentially lost Howard, Alnwick needs to step up & on today's showing, I don't think he can.

 

Worrying times ahead, with a fragile team & a shite back up, hope I'm wrong!

Watched Billy Sharp lead line for Sheff U, not a world beater by any means but difference was striking (pardon the pun). Movement, tenacity, graft and finishing all on a different level.

 

Nadine's been better at this level this season, and was a bit isolated today as ours didn't do enough to get up and around him, but the worry is he's not as good as our rivals target men and when he's absent the options are worse (Proctor)
