Actually, I take it back, had it on whilst I was working last night. It got a lot better as it went on and by the end quite hoped it had another series.

From eps 4 it get much better.

Bloke at the gym works in the same building as the detectives. Reckons the earlier episodes got pulled off iplayer as the coppers had been threatened by a crime gang. He also reckons the remaining 3 are definitely Rochdale. No idea if he’s a bullshitter or not

He's even worse than the Tinder Swindler in terms of what he did to people

My mate used to work for RBS he said at the time you if you wanted to withdraw a large amount of money in cash you’d have to be subtle and ask questions as a conversation and not tip them off that you’re finding out what you plan to do with it. Stuff like “ooh any plans for your money, would it not be easier to do a bank transfer, cheque etc

One elderly chap, wanted money to send to his girlfriend in Nigeria so she could buy a flight. To us it’s dead easy to spot a scam but this chap genuinely thought he was meeting the love of his life.

He had to pull him into a room and say look mate this is a scam you’re gonna lose your money. 
He wasn’t having it and just wanted his money to send via western Union. Sad really
