I've said before - read Dopesick and watch that on Disney Plus and also read Empire of Pain which Painkiller was based on. If you prefer fiction Demon Copperhead is a great book about the situation. The reason is so interesting is it gets to the heart of America politics and the fact there is a heroin crisis in the States that that is a true epidemic. Makes you get down on your knees and thank the lord for the NHS and regulation.
