  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

back where we started. If they're playing characters that obviously wouldn't have been black - don't like.

If credible, don't mind.

For balance, if there's any dramas about 16th century Africa and a white family's moved into the end hut, I'd be fucking livid.

... unless, of course, it was a historical drama about a 16th century white family that moved to Africa based on a true story.

They've been indoctrinated.

Keep promoting common sense and don't listen to 'em.

Both.

is there any point at all to this question. Really, genuinely curious.

No, he's a fucking imbecile.

I said nothing about 'too many' but he likes to invent/lie.

Ben Kingsley was born Krishna Pandit Bhanji btw.

Explains why he was so convincing

He must've at least browned up for the role though

Just watched it.

@ZicoEnglish mother.  Changed his name as he didn't want to sound foreign.

These days he'd call himself Krish Bhanji which is a fantastic name.

I’ll take another divergence from classic WWays whataboutery shite. @mickbrownhave you been watching the latest Tour de France on Netflix? Know you’re a cyclist. Utterly superb. Netflix are so good at documentaries like this

Not started it yet. I love this sort of stuff.

I love it, but then I love watching cycling.

Must be good - even my mrs is enjoying it. Keeps asking me "who won this stage" like I remember every minute of last years' tour 😁

1923 finally on Netflix - been waiting for this after finishing 1883 and then I can get into Yellowstone.

I enjoyed 1883 and 1923 but thought Yellowstone was utter bollocks.

Everyone else seems to love it, so maybe it's just me.

Nope, I’m with you. I thought Yellowstone was pish.

Put me off 1883 and 1923. They worth watching?

I'd say yes. Really enjoyed 1883.

Another shout for 1883 - even the slightly cheesy bit where the main protagonist become a native American.

Mobland next, I think.

Some dodgy accents on display I hear

So Torode has been sacked by the BBC now. An alleged racist slur from years ago.

I hope the new puritan slimebag cunts who go trawling for this type of stuff to assassinate peoples careers and lives get what is coming to them one day. Lower than whale shit.

Yeah, there is, show was good though

apparently broson is Irish?

The accents aren't dodgy at all, they're just not the usual typical Dublin accents folk are used to.

I suppose it depends what it was that he actually said, and to who

Anyhoo....Wallace was sacked for being a generally creepy and inappropriate pest, and Torode would probably have been tarred with that brush, as presumably he didn't speak up or try to stop it, because he would have been present (probably)  -  I'm aware there is a few assumptions there, but maybe this is the excuse they needed to get rid of the smug sweaty moon faced Galah

I like watching Masterchef, so hopefully the programme isn't cancelled moving forward - I'd like to see Romesh Ranganathan and Rosie Jones presenting the next series (as they probably won't employ a white middle aged man/men to present in the future 😉)

Wallace didnt help himself either by making statements that the claims were made by women of a certain age and class whilst stood in front of a Millwall logo trying to play the cheeky chappy working class bloke

If he lives in Bermondsey he might have had a point though I suspect he doesn't

Is Wallace the one who only spends an hour a day with his mentally challenged son, because he prefers to go to his local health club and gurn at the girls doing spin classes?
