Quite interesting. Thank you sir. That was superb. 'Edwardian Britain in Colour'. Obviously not around then but explains much about the people who brought me up and the way they thought. I won't be missing a single episode of this. Edited February 24, 2019 by bolty58

Found it completely by accident, a film had finished and this came on. Missed the first bit and the end unfortunately, but I'll watch it on catch up. The film archives were fascinating. Of particular interest was the hatting industry- my nan worked as a hatter, and lived in Denton (where I emerged before being transferred). jimmyjoojar
I'm halfway through the first season of The Fall, missed it the first time around. Gillian Anderson with blonde hair has been enough to keep me interested thus far....

She was the same in the (massively disappointing) X-Files reboot

It was OK at best. For me it missed audience laughter which other series' had. Last night reminded me of the Partridge films which i also found disappointing. Site Supporter Spider Posted February 26, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted February 26, 2019 I thought Partridge was excellent. second viewing required to catch some of the subtler bits. if the train toilet bit doesn’t make you laugh you’re a member of ISIS

Not in Crawley
Having had the unpleasant experience of going to the one show a number of times, all I can say is it was spot on, and on second viewing was much better.
Site Supporter MickyD Posted February 27, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted February 27, 2019 Just watched that Stacey Dooley thing last night as she followed Kurdish women as they train to fight ISIS. I've also seen some of the others. She's got some bollocks!
