Program on Ch 5 now; all about Lancashire, mining etc. Old footage from all over. Quite interesting.

Thank you sir. That was superb. 'Edwardian Britain in Colour'.

Obviously not around then but explains much about the people who brought me up and the way they thought.

I won't be missing a single episode of this.

Found it completely by accident, a film had finished and this came on. Missed the first bit and the end unfortunately, but I'll watch it on catch up.

The film archives were fascinating. Of particular interest was the hatting industry- my nan worked as a hatter, and lived in Denton (where I emerged before being transferred).

I'm halfway through the first season of The Fall, missed it the first time around.

Gillian Anderson with blonde hair has been enough to keep me interested thus far....

I liked that series but at times you just want her to speak up a bit. She was the same in the (massively disappointing) X-Files reboot

Partridge back tonight

I'm massive Partridge fan but i wasn't impressed, and that makes me sad. It was OK at best. For me it missed audience laughter which other series' had. Last night reminded me of the Partridge films which i also found disappointing.

Had my second viewing earlier as like has been said, I set the bar high

Enjoyed it very much

Stuff like the toilet train doesn't make me , it's more the awkward stuff

"I heard you were separated"

Wanting to call the seal Richard

Etc

The interview with the Hacktivist was brill.

Reminded me of the farmer  "you've got big sheds that no-one knows about....."
