There’s no doubt he’s a better wing back than left back IMO.

Not sure in terms of playing as an out and out winger - he’s not really got the pace. Maybe as an old school left midfielder in the 442 sense, although that’s a rarely seen beast nowadays.

Demps is likely to be classed as 1 of the midfield 4 who could play 10 if needed so means we’ve got 2 10s - McAtee / Rodrigues 

think McAtee stays unless there’s decent money in it for us. Doubt a loan offer will be accepted

I think like Morley, the team are clearly playing hard to get to drive up the price on McAtee, due to the sums Barnsley is expecting for Dunne, it's only normal the same has been done to us for years. Nice to have a team in place that knows how to play the game.

And assuming it’s not required for the striker addition, we’re in a pretty good position.

We don’t need to sell, he’d be a good additional body to have available in the run in, but if you want to offer us a good amount of money then he’s not essential enough that we won’t let him go.

Think Hardie going out was inevitable because them signing someone else was equally if not more certain. Just a matter of when
