We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Brandon Williams ex red shite looks like he's getting his contract torn up at hull (only 6 months left and hardly played this season) worth a shout at left back for cover?

Isn't he a total bellend?

We could be signing Haaland. If he isn’t able to play for the next 10 games then it’s fucking pointless, we could be out of the running by then (and still need to get up to fitness).

I see absolutely no sense in bringing in an injured player in February. Seems the club have come to that conclusion too - good. Get a player that can actually contribute.

Only one signing today, a striker.

That’s exactly what I’d want to read from the delinquents that comment on twitter posts. I imagine my opinion on most things in life, including how good a football player is, is completely the opposite to them.

I'd sooner read that he was a decent player and decent lad personally mate

If you just count games Dalby's started this season and spread them over a full season, he's currently on for a 20 goal season. He can score, he just needs the supply, with a few others chipping in and we have our goals.

What we needed was a no 10, the players will pass to and can score too, we now have one.

McAtee for me in the absence of anyone better.  Clearly wasn't in SS plans earlier in the season (variously by Forss, Randall, Dempsey, Burstow), but its been shown he's better than most of the alternatives (maybe not Dempsey) which has been clear for at least 3 months but only now is he getting to start games.  And I know all about his faults (heading/arm waving etc), but we've so far failed to sign an upgrade.

Hopefully Rodriguez is good/fit, none of us know though.

On Dalby, we can't just count his starts, he played 45 minutes at Posh and scored, scoring as a sub is legitimate.  He's yet to score a 1st half goal, I'm not knocking him he brings other qualities to the game but the discussion is about scoring goals and he's not getting 20 for us however many he starts.

He's a poor man's Heskey, great hold up forward and will get the occasional goal. We need to find his Michael Owen.

Irrelevant really, we'll rarely be playing with 2 strikers, formation will mostly continue to be 4-2-3-1, so we needed a striker in really that could do the role himself. I'm not certain Kenny is that, I still think Burstow is our best option personally.

Nah, he seems a bit of a troubled soul

I'm not sure I get the panic about bringing in a striker.

Get Dalby and Burstow some proper service with these new lads and there's enough goals there for me.

He would be good for Radio

loves the sound of his own voice

Today is set to surpass all of the recent transfer window bollocks chatted by supposed Wanderers fans put together. What a load of gash.

Looks like he's rumbled the media team trying to come up with a creative transfer announcement video.

Almost literally scraping the barrel.

hope not, pub player

we've already got mcatee on loan from the stocks

You need to tell t’internet about the 22 year old pub player - the fools think:

Johnny Kenny is an Irish forward for
Celtic FC known for his high work rate, speed, and ability to press defenders. Standing at 177cm, he is described as a right-footed striker with good acceleration and balance. He excels at getting behind defenses, with noted attributes including decent ball control, dribbling, and holding up the ball.
Key attributes and performance characteristics include:
  • Playing Style: A, energetic forward who focuses on pressing defenders and making runs in behind.
  • Technical Abilities: Generally noted for his dribbling (approx. 64-67 rating), balance (approx. 74), and ball control.
  • Physicality: Described as having a lean body type, with good agility (approx. 74).
  • Performance Metrics: He has demonstrated ability to contribute with goals and assists, with a, high work rate.
  • Experience: Spent time on loan at Queen's Park to gain experience in the Scottish Championship.
His, stats (around 2025/2026) in digital, simulations often highlight him as an "explosive" type of player.

The absolute memes that are going to be used the first time he has a stinker if his announcement video is literally a massive bin.

Him sat in it like Oscar the Grouch.

Looking forward to the Export opinion on that 22 year old Slovenian, playing in the 2nd division of the Danish league, who the fan has "had an eye on for a while"

There may well be other fans that feel he is.

They just done engage in such commentary.

Either way, they gave him a new contract this season - I have no beef with him preferring to take it and stay- which must mean the think something of him.

He also has 6 in 22 iirc.

Not that bad really.

Plays at a higher standard than Kenny then. 😁
