Yep, gonna take him a few games to get match fit to.

Slight concern with the loss of ACD & Forss long term can't afford another

FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Apter will i think play most games not certain all will be on the wing....Dalby needs help thats obvious to all

SS must have a plan, will see in the next ten days

The only help Dalby needs is some bugger attacking the line, getting past the full back and crossing the ball first time, so he can head the bloody ball in.

Dalby has been ineffective played up top on his own.......He needs another around him

His heading ability is ok for someone his size it is not his major asset which is taking the ball and shielding it for another

Also the “hefty loan fee up front” mentioned by Lies doesn’t chime well.

Surely if there’s a question over his injury, they would consider a performance based deal where they get even more money if he delivers?

Shying away from that would indicate that Wrexham themselves have doubts.

Signing someone with an injury record is ill advised but signing someone who’s currently injured and with a big loan fee seems far too risky to me. Say we sign him and it means we let Macca go to make way, then he breaks down again it means we’re fooked cos the windows closed by then. We just can’t afford risks like this for me when there are others I’m sure we could bring in without that risk.

As others say i would swerve the Hardie Transfer also the same with Nombe. Ability wise they both have it but they both have fitness issues.

Can’t say I’m over the moon about it either - good player on his day but the injury is a worry and it’s another loan.

With a deal for permanent

The whole point of having a 6'3" centre forward is to make use oh his height and heading ability when attacking an early ball.

Bollocks to a false/floating/imaginary No10. It's football. It's simple. It's been done for years.

Any rumours about left back cover?

Nobody mentioned this ten or his role.....I said Dalby needs another up front with him, and i also stand by that Dalby is only average in the air

If we sign either Hardie or Nombe then they will play in front of Dalby not behind him

It's just a bad vibe mate. Reading between the lines it's dragged on due to his fitness and we want assurances

Like I said, it's just a bad vibe

I'm on edge rizlar

I believe it's dragged on because Wrexham want someone in first, they're waiting on either Adam Armstrong or Keillor-Dunn from Barnsley

Hope that we have a winger somewhere who can actually cross the ball. Toes up like Doug Holden.

I’d have Keillor-Dunn here for the reported £2m rather than injury prone Hardie or Nombe. At least we know he’s fit.

Fantastic..someone remembers Dougie Holden…. Even i am too young to see him play. Excellent post Passmosster.

This could be our greatest ever transfer window.

That will come this summer.   Christie, TuTu, Johnston, Dempsey,  Forss ,ACD, Apter, Burstow, Cissoko and Blackett-Taylor

Are out of contract or return to parent clubs add to i think Schon, Randall, Taylor and Mcatee could move on

It's actually phenomenal timing for us if we do manage to finally get out of this division this year, squad would need huge improvements to compete and shifting a lot of them without needing to source them moves could be a huge help.

I'm sure you would, just two problems.

We don't have £2m and if we did we wouldn't be anywhere close to competing with Championship wages, let alone Wrexham wages.

Another 3 in - striker, midfielder and another? Oof.

You tipping in the £2m yourself like?

This level of change, ins and outs, mid-seaon suggests a view that the squad we began the season with was simply not good enough.

No fixed style (good), no certainty of our best formation or our best team.

Yet we're 3rd. Had a very, very slow start with draws galore, then a poor December & a recent phase where we've picked up points despite limited performances.

I reckon 2002 might just edge it seeing we got Okocha and Djorkieff on free transfers and N’Gotty on loan amongst others.

But it will be close 🤣
