For those worried about Hardie being injury prone, just did a quick AI search.

With exception to an injury back in 2018 he hasn't had single injury longer than a month.

His current injury is just an awkward landing he encountered just before Christmas.

Rumours were after Ruben Rodriguez.

'apparently' he's already signed

Don't think they paid much for him though, I imagine we've just covered what they paid, clearly just not worked out for him.

It's an exciting signing if/when it happens though, I wanted him when he first left Notts County, exactly the sort of midfielder we need I think.

Schumacher mentioned maybe another after two attacking players, I imagine that'll be a wing back.

seems that way, he's played 26 minutes of football since 3rd may 25

I'd like to think the 'other' will be a LB / LWB to cover / challenge Conway, with Taylor being loaned out. Apter apparently played a few games at LWB for Charlton but don't imagine that being in SS's mind when signing him.

Will be interesting to see if the midfielder is Rodrigues or someone else Fergal and co have on their radar.

I reckon 2002 might just edge it seeing we got Okocha and Djorkieff on free transfers and N’Gotty on loan amongst others.

But it will be close 🤣

Bang average. The lot of them.

... & don't forget, we had to loan Delroy Facey to Burnley to make room.

It's nice that this year we're fretting about the suitability of Hardie when this time last year Kion Etete was just about to rock up.

True, but we did still have Collins.  If we'd had him all season we arguably wouldn't have a need for Hardie and could concentrate on getting a more robust goalscoring threat like Nombe or Olaofe.

We're having to repair the damage of selling our main regular goalscorer (on top of Charles not being replaced).

Laville had a massive impact on our results as a deadline day signing.

Laville, Ballesta and Yves-Andre in one day

pretty sure they were all flown in on their agent's (McKay?) helicopter to sign

Think that Sky piece is slightly inaccurate, could have swore that he's had his contract mutually terminated. Would be a free transfer surely

That's the level of pedantry I like

Obviously not a happy camper so let’s hope he’s right about Aptervand he’s the creative spark we need. Excellent piece of business by Fergal by the looks of it.

I’d have Keillor-Dunn here for the reported £2m rather than injury prone Hardie or Nombe. At least we know he’s fit.

You were really up for signing Nombe a couple of weeks ago, telling us how good he his for Rotherham. Think you said you go watching them sometimes. Do you go watching Barnsley too. Not having a pop btw, you do seem to know the South Yorkshire teams.

For an excerise in showing us how not-injury prone he is you've done a cracking job on making him look injury prone !

Just saying, like.
