It's looks bad initially but when you read into it it really isn't.

Footballers have knocks and minor injuries all the time.

If we pulled up other lists of pretty much every other footballer it would look much worse, particularly for a soon to be 29 experienced footballer that's been playing consistently bar this season.

The point is that his injury record is far from bad.

Most injuries he's had have been very short term and rather impact injuries than muscular or reoccurring.

The most important signing we can make this window is whoever ends up being an effective number 10. Whether thats Rodrigues , maybe apter could play there etc. Getting a proper 10 will unlock everything. We can play 4231 knowing doubling up on the wingers won't stop us. 

Imagine Sheehan linking up with a proper 10. Unlocks everything.

I was talking about Nombe for the reported £800k at that time Alf but I think £2m is far too high. I still think Nombe would be a great signing but not at that price. As for Barnsley, I live here and obviously have lots of friends who support them so get lots of feed back but no I don’t see them unless we play them. My 9 year old granddaughter who lives in Rotherham is a full on Millers fan despite my efforts to recruit her for the Wanderers so I do have to frequently take her to the New York and as she plays on Saturday mornings and trains Tuesdays so it’s difficult to get to the Reebok much now. Bloody kids, they rule your life! 😁

Funny how memories play tricks, I was convinced Murphy's 2nd goal was scored from a really tight angle nearer to the touch line than the 6 yard box, turns out it was a routine finish.

I've not seen too much of Nombe. But could he cut it in the Championship? Looks like he's a roughly 1 in 4 striker at Rotherham.

That is my over-riding memory of that entire day. In fact, I don't remember a single other thing from waking up at 5am to getting home gone midnight, and I didn't even have a beer.
