FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

We won't be signing anyone that the analysis suggests can't make whatever step up is required.

Akin Famewo signed from Hull

Wednesday fan at work reckons he's decent.

Not that it means nowt, but Jack Dearden has just re-twattered this one.... so an actual journo has possibly heard this one...

When do we move from moaning that we have not signed anyone to moaning about anyone we have signed ?

27, Championship experience, centre back. Seems a solid signing

Some interesting comments below.

Filled in at left back.

“We won 6 of the 7 games he started, including beating Boro and and Southampton, got 4 clean sheets in those 7 as well. Proper underrated”

“Already commented about him starting 7 and winning 6 of them but just been looking at his stats and they’re a joke. Got dribbled round once in all 15 total appearances and we conceded only 5 with him on the pitch”

“Bring him home swfc”

Just looking around, and it seems he is predominantly a centre half.

If we are after another left back, then I reckon we'll be looking for one specifically.

He's 1.88m tall- around 6'2" which would seem ideal if we're after some extra beef at the back.

Think it's the versatility that's a positive again with this one, will do the GJ role of being able to play both LCB and as a defensive LB when the situation requires. I think we'll still be after two fullbacks, and that's in addition to Luca if that is indeed done.

Presumably we're now fully stocked at CB position, we now have Famewo, Davies, Toal and Forino, SS did say he wanted two players for every position and if we're playing four at the back then we should be OK.

So they manage to sell a player for £2.5m who never played a game for them and spent last season on loan at Scarborough Athletic

Hmmm

Up there with Cardiff buying Madine for £6m eight years ago.

Pure money-laundering.
