We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

I think your last two words say it all.

Don't forget the Polish flag.

One to sleep on i think

krystian bielik loan from Arsenal ?

Thought we’d got 3 young Polish kids in for a week or two, so they could earn a scholarship?

Did we once have a polish player that played up on the wing?

When he got the ball did the burnden paddock sing?

Transfer market had just lost the plot

City are selling kids who have barely played 10 premier league matches between em for over £10m each

Angus Gunn - £10m plus add ons - 1 season with Norwich on loan

Zinchenko - £17m - 8 appearances for city

Appreciate they might have potential, but no wonder big clubs are stock piling kids when they can offload em for those figures

Don’t know why clubs would pay out such sums when you can generally get them in on loan until their contracts run out anyway.

Those fee's are tiny. £10 mill now is like £1 mill a few years ago.

loan fees are ridiculous these days as well

someone reckoned £3M just to get Jordan Rhodes on loan, presumably for a season

probably cheaper to buy City's kids than loan them for a few seasons

Paweł Olkowski, who dissolved the contract with Köln, found a new club. Signed a 2-year contract with Bolton Wanderers. More here: https://www. przegladsportowy.pl/pilka-nozna/ligi-zagraniczne/polacy-za-granica/pawel-olkowski-zagra-w-bolton-wanderers/r9f04wv

right back

looks like a decent enough pedigree for the position we're in

but doesn't appear to have played too much, so maybe a touch injury prone

Who?

Right back?

Well if our current 2 right backs get injured atleast we’ll be covered...

Wonder if he can play wing? Just in case our existing 5 wingers get injured.

Centre forward.

Centre mid

Centre back

Left back.

No more wingers or right backs please

I think it is generous to consider Darby anything but he can play left back too!

This bloke seems to have played right back, left back and right midfield in his career, so perhaps versatile? On paper a 28 year old with plenty of Bundesliga games under his belt sounds better than I was expecting.

aye, that's what i was thinking but did the maths and he was getting 16 games a season in germany, whilst kirchoff was getting around 14

still, if it's a 2 year deal and not short term, then will trust the medical went well

Might get a few Polish lads watching our games.
