Cloughs the leading scorer from inside left- Alf isn't going to track back the way Clough has been, so if Alf plays in cloughs role then he's not going score as many as in the middle.

In the middle would necessitate a change of style.

If we're changing style then its harsh on Clough.

We know Clough misses a few, but he is also more creative than others- look at his interplay with vela.

Letting him go for £3.5 million is a mistake in my opinion. Above five maybe.
