Things may have changed though...it could be a way of getting rid of DH & Blu Marble. Recent statements from KA have told us that they're uncovering more issues on a regular basis. Perhaps when KA said we didn't need to sell anybody, he wa telling the truth....perhaps things have changed

I doubt things changed to the tune of 3m of whatever we've accepted

 

Think this was coming all along and KA done enough to look like hes done what he could to keep him but the intention was always to sell

Folk will make on hes not been that good but he's been equally as important as other key players over the season so far

I'm hoping we might have 1 more attacking option up our sleeve once Clough has gone but it's leaving it a bit late.

The value of Clough was taken from the Charlton lad going to Everton. Maybe he was vastly better than Clough, maybe not; but there's a huge discrepancy in fees.

That Charlton lad has the physique to cause problems in the Prem. Clough doesn't. I reckon that's why he's a 3 million player and not a 10m+ player.

Its a lot better

Don't get me wrong - I think he's a cracking little player and a good lad - but I reckon he's a good championship/very average prem player at his peak. I hope I'm totally wrong and we get part of a 50,000,000 sell on clause in a couple of years - but like Casino says - the lack of Prem interest speaks volumes to me.

Clough has a lovely touch, tight feet, and the free kicks are decent. However, I don't see him at the top level unless he develops significantly - he suffers from a lack of pace, a lack of strength and a lack of a left foot. All of this means that barring the odd bit of nice touches, he doesn't get away from the athletes in the Premier League

 

I wish him all the best, and I really hope he keeps developing as time is on his side, but he's championship level right now for me and I don't see him reaching the top as much as I would like him to

Correct. I'm not sure he would be remotely interesting to a PL club at present. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on at Forest
