Big risk in my opinion. I know ZC has had a few games where he's not lived up to his potential - but in the same way that we've missed Ameobi's unpredictability - we'll miss Clough's. Unless this kid from Brum can open a few doors then we all of a sudden look like just a workmanlike side as opposed to a workmanlike side with a creative spark. That said - are we in a position to turn down serious money for anybody?

Made up with ALF coming back.

Gutted losing Clough was always going to happen I suppose and he'll still be our top scorer this season. Best of luck to him.

Great getting rid of Taylor and Proctor. Nowhere near good enough.

Interesting comment on the Iles blog (not sure if it was from him or a contributor) speculating about just how much Le Fondre is Parkinson's "choice". I guess insinuating that he could be more of a gift from the chairman to the fans

Who will I miss least; Proctor or Taylor?

We need to get more players in now we've shifted Clough he's a big miss although he's not been in great form for a few weeks he's quality on his day. Failure to add any more players mean a mediocre window in my opinion.

Fuck it, we are 3rd, we need to be top 2. Zach isn't unplayable, as he should be. Do you want an actual goalscorer over someone who doesn't look like scoring from open play? Worst case scenario we drop to 4th or 5th, current plan isn't working.

I'd say one of our best assets rather than best player, if the last few weeks are anything to go by.

We've signed three forward players in 2 days now though (albeit on loan) so I'm hoping and expecting that we're more of a threat going forward now than we were before.

Like Radcliffe said, its the likes of Beevers and Spearing we MUST keep hold of in the next few hours

It was working until we lost Ameobi.

Don't get that- why should he be any more unplayable than anyone else.

Agree current plan isn't working, but that's up to the manager to sort. Perhaps he is with proctor and Taylor out but selling your top scorer and bringing in someone who arguably in poorer form is a massive risk.

People think he's worth £10m, C Ronaldo was unplayable, Zach Clough is meh even in League One. Have a look, MKWays won't be in a frenzy because Zach won't be tearing them apart.
