I think there's a fair chance he waited it out in search of a better contract before realising he wouldn't find one.

Yes would be nice. Leicester do well on their transfer policy, which suggests Darcy has something about him.

Be nice to keep him though and see him come through.

I must be missing something with Darcy. Looks tidy but nothing I’ve seen that would excite me too much.

Early impressions seem like Hill fancies Sonny Graham to progress quicker than Darcy

From what I’ve seen I think Darcy has the potential to be the best one. Potential being the key word but I’ve been impressed so far

I liked watching Darcy when we were playing with a team full of kids just because he seemed to enjoy running around and giving the grown ups a kick to the ankle.

Other than that I didn't think he stood out.

Weird how its reported in the Sun, its like when my grandad tells me a story and goes off on a tangent then eventually gets back to what he is originally talking about.

I agree entirely. Casino has a point, he's still a bit slight, but that will be ok in time.

He gets his head up and is comfortable with the ball, reckon he'll stand out more with more experienced, better players.

There have been plenty of 'slightly built' footballers but I reckon if you have little by way of upper body and core strength then you'd better have great ball skills to compensate.

I liked the look of Darcy and he had a bit of attitude about him.  Yes he does need to bulk up but he’s only 18.  

I didn’t take what Hill said about our youth too seriously.  I think he is trying to get a positive reaction.  I do think he is right about 21+ yr olds who have never broken into the 1st team squad, but most of our promising youngsters would still be playing U18s if we had a full proper squad.

This will be our lot for the foreseeable future any decent prospect will be linked with leaving. 

Clubs will have scouts watching and this will give rise to stories that the players are off.

Hopefully FV have the finance sorted that we can hold out for the going rate rather than having to sell on the cheap.

Is Politic & Darcy still on scholars?  If so this can be an issue. Need to get these lads properly signed up

Hopefully this is true & they have long term contracts, sick to death of our young players going for a pittance 

Our old keeper Mark Howard back on emergency loan according to mark iles , salford city also saying he has signed for them ?
