FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Rumours that we've offered Dodoo a contract.

Would seem logical

If he signs - and I guess that would come down to the money - I think we'll have a reasonably competitive side with options once they are all fit and learn each other's game. Hope so anyway.  Might even score some goals.

Pringle has signed for Gillingham.

They were together at Rotherham, half the battle is who you know in football.  That's why I'm pleased we've got 2 'managers' that know loads of lower league players.

I'm also glad that they apparently turned down lots of players who were pushing for more money and the signings they made were players who wanted to play for us for "football reasons" according to Flitcroft. And that FV have decent football connections which can only be a good thing going forward.

We didn't pay a single penny to agents on deadline day either

Think the connection was Basran is an investor in the agency that owns Bridcutt. Not sure FV are massively connected to the football world. But that's why they needed a manager who was.....

For more information on that read the BN section.

One individual (Howard?) likening fv to ken and his son. Because they have a bit of a football connection!

Ha! Did we ever rely on learning other's games?

Well it does help if you know what your teammates are likely to do and their strengths and weaknesses. This lot have only just met let alone getting round to having a few games of ping pong together or other advanced team bonding activities (copyright DF!) - guess we're lucky to have the extra week.

Good news re Edwards. Of all the young lads hes the one i thought coukd play in first team now. Then kf course he got injured just our luck. Players like this our future

Yes, I’m another one happy at Edwards signing. I expect him to play plenty of games this season and improve quite a bit. We need to keep our brighter prospects on longer term contracts

Possibly an unreported new signing in today

Dorans linked, is it him? Do a job if he can get fit?

Not dorrans

Was mentioned earlier in the week
