I concur with Gonzo about the girl with the leather trousers although I shouldn't because I don't think she was too much older than my own daughter.

And the stilt girls. Their lady bits were just about head height.

Coast to Coast and chinkychento is tipping a fiver a pint but it's good, in a glass, and isn't full of pikeys.

 

It's worth the extra matchday fiver or so just for that.

I think reacharounds make things a bit too gay...

 

If the choice is a £4.75 pint of piss in a plastic pot and a decent pint of, say, Guinness at £5 and in a glass then I'd plump for the latter...but, I can see a day, not too long away, where a pint of swill like Fosters or John Smiths is around a fiver, even in shite pubs, a stand has to be made now Imo, OK, if it's Hobson's choice then pay a fiver, but make sure they know your displeasure by vandalising the bogs, nothing major - perhaps knock the hand-dryer off the wall or smash a toilet cistern (use the lid, booting one may result in a nasty gash)...a turd in a empty toilet roll tube can be a handy crayon to leave a message on the wall explaining the destruction.

A month or two ago, the bloodsucking leeches in the Balmoral put 10p on a pint & it rocketed up to £2-10.  I'm still outraged.

Not been in Scott's regular for 5 years get in hotel about 2 ish pint or 2 of doom bar then 1 after. It's not cheap but you've got nice environment footy on tv and easy to get served it works for me.

Gone from going in Scott's before every game to now managing to stay completely sober for all but a couple of home games this season. Might have to revert back to boozing after making the mistake of going in Costa after the game yesterday while the traffic died down.

theres an excellent coffee place in rome, its in most of the best coffees in rome lists
