Due to my dad only returning home on Wednesday after his bleed to the brain followed by a severe stroke, this shitfan will be absent.   I'll be watching it with my dad on Sky. Watched my first ever

  • Darwen Whites are back are back and mocking the locals.

Top effort. Where you coming from; Sunderland area or further up stream in the sticks.

Often stayed near Wolsingham and its a lovely part of the world.

Its never easy. Ill go for a nervy 0-0

I am generally Mr. Positive but for some reason a 0-0 draw with Bobby Moore's Fulham team keeps springing to mind. Half a mind that PP might set up 'not to lose' which I reckon would be completely the wrong tactic and could well backfire. We should be at the posh bastards from the first second harrying and pressuring.

I would settle for 0-0  right now but, hopefully, I am full of shite and we are 4-0 up at half time!

Sunderland area mate. Never been to wolsingham, i don't think anyhow. The north east in general though, has some beautiful places to visit.

You don't really realise it until you live here.

Train ticket from Newcastle upon Tyne booked. Travelling Saturday to stay with folks in Farnworth. Being picked up early Sunday morning by brother in law who lives in Chester and then off to match with mate and his two sons who are travelling up from Fleet, Hampshire. Echo whiteonthewear, I just have to be there.

Absolutely. Love weardale and Teasdale. Wolsingham up to frosterly and Stanhope then Alston.

Some cracking summer thunderstorms too :)

Enjoy Sunday!

Need to move away fans to top tier, there won't be many anyway. Many area close to selling out.

Ahh! That Wolsingham!. Sorry yeah, driven through it many a time on my way to stanhope to see family.

Bricking it about sunday but my 8 year old is fully confident that it's going to be 6-0 to the whites. Do for me

Not a lot of seats left bottom tiers if there's 3-4 of you you'll struggle to get seats together.

I've missed this feeling of not being able to wait for the next game, fretting all week, dominating your thoughts, genuine anticipation that weve had in the last few weeks and month. Been too long.

Record receipts?

no chance, used to charge more in 2004

We had to get tickets in East Upper or sit near the pitch

Pity they didn't open North Lower to us
