We must stop bowing to the liberals.

Some of the actions outlined seem sensible and doable to me; have our government the will to carry out?

Very well said G.

The bowing to liberals is uttering ly pathetic and cringeworthy.

Would love to say our government have the knackers to carry out certain measures to safeguard our citizens, but they're a bunch of corrupt namby pamby wankers.

They will need to. Might get away with it this time, but can still see ukip getting a sudden boost at the election. Get it wrong, and come 2022 (ish?) all shit my break loose.

Read a post yesterday from a Muslim gent that was stating that the muslim community need to work with everyone else to route it out.. It was an interesting read and I agreed with it..

Facebook deleted it..

Could we not arrest and deport the entire 'known activist' list. Use the army if there's not enough resources elsewhere?

Is that too hard to do?

Says it all

That's the one.

Its what Amans have been saying and trying for years, to get people integrating,

I take it that means someone on my facebooks reported it ?

Most of them are British. So where would you deport them to? Also the list won't just be Muslims either. So are you deporting everyone who has been identified as looking at extremist materials etc...because some of those people will be entirely innocent.

How can eduction stop the next 22 year old jihadi extremist making a nail bomb and blowing up a shopping centre? Seriously how?

This problem is here and now. They are already entrenched in their beliefs. No amount conversation and eduction between faiths will stop this.

The root of their beliefs isn't the problem, us being under attack and our children in fear is.

I'm as passive and as liberal as any fucker, but we can't carry on pretending (which I have) that it's going to get better.

This isn't about the Muslim faith, it's about armed extremists threatening our society. It needs to be fought like a war not an integration exercise.

Fuck me they will be chomping at the bit to take another shot.

Not just education, but reaching out - to be honest here in the UK that would mean more Muslims would be the ones looking out for, and reaching to, these loner types; not 'White Christians' sticking their beaks in.

I'm drawing a parallel with Columbine and other massacres in the states.  I bet if you looked at the psychological profiles you'd see similarities.  It's got knob all to do with faith really.  But reaching out to fringe types would at least be a positive step.

I've done Prevent training with work but in practice it does fook all but incriminate anyone who thinks or acts differently, which is a worry in and of itself.

There's no easy fix or 'right' solution though really but we must try some new things at least . . .

Education?

The lad was a 22 year old uni student..

He has been over here from birth and had prospects others can only dream of,

there's only so much that can be done

This lone wolf shit and comparisons to mass shooting in US Schools. Ignores the problem which is the folk in the back ground encouraging training and arming the bombers.

You brainwash someone to do you murderous activity.

As much as I want there to be an easy solution this all the lock em up, ship em off , kill them all mentality will do is increase the sense of injustice in the warped minds and increase the problem.

There is a danger that if the public feel sufficient measures are put in place then someone, somewhere may take matters into their own hands, which may start a chain reaction throughout Europe.

That is a real concern.   If all this does end in a WW3 type situation it shows just what numpties the human race really are.  We repeat the same mistakes and allow ourselves to be governed by short sighted, greed driven policies.

I think that's unlikely though.  Or hope . . .

Great to hear the first part and it needs to happen, whether Muslims are to blame or not they need to accept the way the land lies and work with it; the second part is worrying on many levels

Incident now on Granby Row. City centre.

raided a block of flats relating to the incident monday

Greater Manchester Police have said they now know the identities of all the victims of the Manchester Arena attack

All of the families have been contacted and specially trained officers are supporting them.

A statement from GMP said: “Due to the number of victims, Forensic Post Mortems are likely to take four to five days.

“After this we will be in a position to formally name the victims with guidance from the Coroner.”

Why not use a pantone chart to decide who we deport?

That works both ways.

Anyways, I agree with your point re. the real instigators but they need to be dealt with differently.  I'm talking about working with and encouraging Muslim communities to do more to reach out to these types; and ensuring that British people distinguish clearly between monsters and Muslims.

Stop their supply line as it were.

The link above from that Muslim fella on Twitter is the kind of message that Muslims need to be circulating within their communities.

for me that is exactly what we need

we can reach out but people at the heart of the community and the issues need to be brave and stand up to this if they are aware of it, we can work with muslim groups via those willing and with power / influence, but there has to be a change in mindset

it happens though in all communities - within terror cells, within the grooming gangs, all those who knew about saville et al, all those who knew about those within the footballing community abusing kids, those who knew preists were noncing but were too scared of them/god, and like we saw in that little boy blue, in council estates and simialr where people are scared to be seen as a grass or stand up to those with a perceived perception of power and with it, intimidation

they have to be rooted out and the communities need to help do that - so the mass majority can get on with their lives not living in fear of reprisals from either side

and once we know who they are, they can be dealt with accordingly - be it prison, deportation, internment, whatever it takes  to stop them

we also need to look increase the resources that hold back the intelligence on those we do know that are up to, or potentially up to, no good, whilst it's hard to watch all 3000 on the suspect list at once, we need to keep them in check - they went out and arrested this guys mates quickly enough - we need a reason to be able to proactively do this sort of thing, not re actively - and that will, to a degree, come from within their communities as well as being tighter on those going to the middle east and back again, which is also needed

islam is not going away, neither is terrorism, waging a war on it won't stop it long term, and the death penalty isn't coming back, making them all leave won't work - all this extreme thinking will just make things worse

it won't happen overnight either, there will be more incidents like this, but no point in saying I told you so when they do, if your solution is to boot them all out or worse

we need to do what we can to get people to grass - but people don't like it, or are too scared, and that's nowt to do with muslims, it's just the way it is
