Executing them simply helps them radicalise more people. We need to find them, lock them up and give them absolutely no limelight whatsoever. Some work alone, as the guy at Westminster did. Some don't, as seems the case in Manchester. But when we find the rest of his group, I want them put out of public circulation. But killing them will only stoke up more who feel aggrieved.

Reopen the bay, punish them every day for the rest of their lives.. make them watch family videos of their victims and have pictures on the wall.. Show them videos of their families disowning them, of their Amans and elders spitting on pictures of them.. Keep them on the kusp and then bring them back.

but don't give them a way out..

That will only make things worse. I realise it is a very emotional time and people feel like something must be done. Ultimately there isn't a whole lot to do that won't make things worse. 

 

Horrible truth is that if someone wants to hurt and kill innocent people and have no regard for their own life, ultimately they will in many cases find a way to do it. There will be thousands of people with the potential to do that who aren't even on any sort of a list. Many on a list will never ever harm another living soul.

I'd agree if this guy was a mentalist driving a stolen car into a bus stop, but by all accounts this wasn't.

There isn't a way that is going to work. It is naive to think the authorities know who these people are. They have huge lists of suspects. Take a look into how someone might end up on these lists. Sure further intelligence gives them other clues, but it isn't anywhere near as clear cut as you want it to be.

 

Everyone is angry. But the only response is to get on with life, for rational people to unite and show them we are a multicultural society that stands together and that no matter what they do, they can never break that togetherness.
