My daughter just sent a text saying that she is in lockdown at her offices on Regent St with members of the public taking shelter there. She saw all the commotion just after the incident but she is safe thankfully

I hear what you're saying there; though the two incidents you mention on these shores seem to be police acting on reports and that then gets spread around social media- you're right in that nothing actually happened, but its only natural that our media reported it as an ongoing incident.

As a general rule I'd say if non-humanitarian shit is going on and you can help/prevent in some way you have a moral obligation to do so.  

 

Whether the Wests reasons for meddling in the middle east have been righteous or selfish is up for debate; but what is certain is that seemingly no good has come of it, and has made our position worse.
