Sweep Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 My daughter just sent a text saying that she is in lockdown at her offices on Regent St with members of the public taking shelter there. She saw all the commotion just after the incident but she is safe thankfully Glad she's safe mate. Police now saying no evidence of any shots or terrorist activity The sad thing is that all it takes is a few people to start running around and screaming and all panic ensues......terrorists can cause terror now, without even doing anything now. The police have to "lock down" based on reports, I get that, as they can't be seen to be doing nothing, in case anything has kicked off. It's mental isn't it. Quote
Spider Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 Olly Murs was banging Lily Allen up the dung tunnel in Selfridges and she dropped a bag of baubles at the point of climax. YHIHF Quote
gonzo Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 That's horrific in Egypt. Isis attack a mosque. Nobody will give two shits in the west like. Quote

This isn’t directed at you it just follows on The main issue is look at the outcry at Heaton Park the other week for nothing and tonight for nothing. It’s fine that people don’t care about stuff not affecting them but don’t jump on random uk fake shit and ignore actual attacks. Quote
Casino Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Yet more Muslims killed which puts them even further in front of the religion that has lost most followers to terrorism race Quote
gonzo Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 As danny g famously said, this will all get sorted out over there. Better off staying out of it. Quote

I hear what you're saying there; though the two incidents you mention on these shores seem to be police acting on reports and that then gets spread around social media- you're right in that nothing actually happened, but its only natural that our media reported it as an ongoing incident. Its on now, suggesting IS behind it which may bump it up a bit. Quote

I don’t remember the Saudis the Iranians or the Syrians weighing into Belfast to blow the shankhill or falls roads to bits. So, aye, maybe our “help” just makes things worse. Quote

madthatter Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Leave the fuckers too it, let them sort there own backyard out As a general rule I'd say if non-humanitarian shit is going on and you can help/prevent in some way you have a moral obligation to do so. Whether the Wests reasons for meddling in the middle east have been righteous or selfish is up for debate; but what is certain is that seemingly no good has come of it, and has made our position worse. In short, what can we do? Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Build a wall. A big, long fuckin wall. If you want to chuck gays off towers, deprive women of any rights, and bum camels then get on one side. If you want to live like a normal human being then get on the other. The radical side: leave them to do what they want. Our side: behave or go to the other side. Quote
