I'm still not quite sure what good such after the event reports do.

All reports are all written with the benefit of hindsight which means that any work done prior to an event can be micro-inspected to see what happened as a result. It's basically a load of bullshit.

You feel daft for not waiting but the reality is that we can't predict everything..

I think the point is that as good a job as we're doing there's always more thst can be done with more time and resources, and the focus should be on ensuring we don't make the same mistakes again

 

It's a more productive exercise than shutting down mosques and the like

 

Why wouldn't you carry out an inquiry as to what could have be done by us to stop terror and save lives?

 

It's like not carrying out the Hillsborough inquiry as you're happy to just let the scousers take the blame

Am i reading that as you are sorry that these lads were apprehended? If so a new low right there on Wanderersways. Hope I have read it wrong.

That is a shocking post if interpreted correctly, you should be ashamed of yourself.

I read it as a shame the plot was foiled as they'd likely been Heckler and Koch'ed into Paradise at the first hurdle - had it gone ahead.
