Ask him how the tide of asylum seekers has impacted Kent County Council and their social services, he'll soon go away.

I’m still here you just won that little argument so I walked back to the pavilion 🏏

Just listening to Sky news Europe correspondent Adam Parsons and I quote. “ Funnily enough the little whispers you get from Brussels are that they think that a deal might just be possible by the end of this month” looks like hardball getting us somewhere. As predicted.

I know. A nightmare and a shitshow.

I’ll just have to flatten Hanley instead.

I’m calling standard playground rules now, since you seem to be getting all sweaty and upset.

I will - pwomise - answer your question after you answer mine. But I asked first so let’s go with you then me.

I don’t wish to sound patronising (you DO know what patronising means don’t you), but your replies are all over the place. Keep it simple cocker:

What did Boris mean when he said oven ready

You don't wish to sound patronising. But you assume your right to set the rules and sequencing of a debate despite being one of the protagonists. A very partial protagonist unwilling to engage with context and with the narrowest of agendas.

Oven ready or not. We have left the EU. You've spent four years being sweaty and upset. Move on.

Mounts gets it right again. A remainer is always wrong. Always.

I'll let you sing part of 'Song for Whoever' to me as way of an apology 😉

And I will repeat mine. What did remainers mean when they said they'd respect the vote?

Like remain folk generally you regally assume the moral high ground. The performance we had from 2016-19 means you've abrogated your right to such territory. However you're so cocooned in your own rectum you cant see it.

Game over. We have left. If the EU show their usual last second pragmatism there'll be deal. Either way the world awaits the United Kingdom. Lots of ovens. Lots of readiness.

Calm down dear. We left on January 31 by the way.

You keep putting your remainer spin on things. As the history of the last four years or more proves, remainers consistently get things wrong. If remainers say it, the opposite will happen.

I say we are leaving but you are correct we have left. Just this oven ready withdrawal agreement to sort out now.

Stop going on about remainers, it is over. Done and dusted, you won.

Now it is down to the Brexiters, you know, those in the Cabinet & Government to do what they promised and deliver this fantastic oven ready deal.

So you can’t answer the question then.

For future reference, when you can’t answer a question, just saying “I don’t know” or “Sorry, I’m out of my own ideas on this” or even “No” will suffice.

Flapping around with a thesaurus and hitting your keyboard so hard your knuckles start to hurt isn’t what we’d usually refer to as a debate.

A shame, as your posts in the Wigan thread are excellent. Found your level perhaps.

Remainers as a whole accept we are leaving. Given now under 3 months it is not unreasonable to ask how it is going to work.
You keep avoiding the Irish border question, if you do not know that is fine. No one else does.
You have not answered about ‘no deal’ either. Do you have a view on us leaving with no deal IF that happens.
Finally given how important this is and we need to get it right why given the way the virus has changed the world do we not at least consider moving the date back ?

So 3 things. Irish border, No Deal and the date. All questions can you answer those ? You seem to get annoyed with people asking questions and go on one of your rants about Remoaners. Give a sensible credible answer then It becomes a debate.
Miami was asked for example of where asylum seekers are causing an issue, he gave one and Spider shut up. It is how debates work.

Says the remainer who along with his chums has had everything wrong since 2016. And can't cope when this small matter is pointed out.

With the term oven ready you're like an angry wasp trapped in a bottle. Meanwhile the rest of the world moves on.

We've left the EU. Please stop your graceless display of straw clutching.

Why would anybody be upset about a deal ? A deal is better than no deal. Think everyone agrees on that ?

The EU plays the last minute game on every negotiation it conducts. We are playing the same way now. All of those areas will be under discussion. Realpolitik will kick in. I'm not going to try to interpret how those discussions might be taking shape, but they are and have been for months. Ignore the hype and headlines. Let's see what emerges.

Sensible people will agree on it, but plenty on here have constantly gloated and took great delight in  no deal being done so far, looks like their premature posting will stop soon, then they will find other points to constantly moan about.

I voted to leave.

My issue isn’t leaving, but how we leave. Your rabid mind is unlikely to have the processing power to understand that this scenario can even exist, and I haven’t the energy to explain it to you.

I’m at ease with leaving. Trust me, as are most of the “remainers” on here.

You fail to see that because your only real concern is being on the winning side. If you spent less time crowing and a little more time absorbing what people are actually saying, you’d probably be able to enter the debate without sounding like Ronnie Pickering.

As it is, such subtleties are beyond you. But there is hope.

I am sure they and I will be happy to point out if it is a shit deal. 😎
But assume you will be happy to admit that No Deal would be terrible ?

Too late, I’d already dropped my microphone and settled into my throne up on the moral high ground.

Its important to laugh sometimes, not take yourself too seriously.

Ive just had a Brie and fig toasted sandwich for lunch. For example.

See much nicer reply 😎🥳

My only concern is getting a good deal. On the Irish border I do not have a clue how this could work without pissing one side off.

None of that is the fault of people who voted for Leave but how the fuck the Remain campaign did not highlight it is a joke.

I wouldn't be judging folk's personalities on the strength of a Brexit debate. Only their views on Brexit.

Cheese and chutney butties and an apple here.

Why would No Deal be terrible ? Is it based on reports which haven't been proven yet as per many of the remaining side's forecasts and predictions ?

Anyone can say what they like re the various predictions and forecasts, nobody knows for certain 100% .
