Read something the other day about how many eu nations are happy to let France be the bad cop. Its also been stated previously that ultimately, a decision will be made in Paris and Berlin, and not Brussels. Macron is playing a dangerous game though: I part jokingly suggested French fishermen will be blockading ports- but if Macron has his bluff called, those boats instantly lose access to a lot of fishing waters, and they won't be happy with him to say the least. Can’t remember who it was but it’s also been reported on various platforms but it’s just possibly just speculation or rumors who knows. What im Not doing , unlike you , is telling someone it’s contained within a legal document and then when that’s proven to be incorrect change it to another legal document only to be proven wrong yet again Like I said you need to actually read these docs first before hanging your hat on them and quoting them as evidence of your point. 👍 Quote

I’m not sure he’s particularly popular in France anyway currently is he? Just from the snippets I hear and the protests etc. the very reason that Boris asked to speak to macron and merkel as that carry the weight of power. But the EU were spot on to refuse it. If they hadn’t it just makes a mockery of it all. Quote

In reality it will be one of goves mates from His bridge club 😁 Quote

Fact. have a pleasant evening anyway and do your reading The Political Declaration (part of the Withdrawal Agreement, which our PM used to win an election) literally signs us up to working towards a 'Level Playing Field' deal with the EU. You said it didn't, then agreed it did, then went back to saying it didn't. You are now declaring that's a bad thing because of what "Somebody on Radio 2" said (I suspect it was Dominic Raab). Once again, your "I'm totally impartial, honest guv!"-mask need readjusting. Quote

Cheese Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 The posts are there for all to see. I apologised for referencing the Withdrawal Agreement when I should've referenced the Withdrawal Agreement's accompanying Political Declaration. You carry on wanking each other off though. 😄 Quote
