We're leaving the world's largest trading block. They're not.

Time will tell, Mick

Whilst what you said maybe true, my expectation is that we will be better off out, in many ways.

At this juncture, we only have opinions

Not checked for a while to be honest mate. Probably got found guilty behind closed doors and elevated 😃

Mick ❤ the EU

Not really. Like others have said I was doing fine thanks very much before the referendum. Why voluntarily enter the unknown?

I'd fuck off to live in France in a heartbeat though.

Indeed we do. It's something we'll revisit I imagine.

In the same respect, why not try to improve instead of being tied to a corrupt club ?

France is that way sir 🇫🇷👇😘

Why so?

Simple mathematics. 27 countries who trade freely - verses 1 country who is putting up trade barriers. It's as simple as that. If/when tarrifs are introduced on the stuff we supply to EU countries, what are they going to do? Pay the tarrifs and accept the delays, or turn to one of the other 27 countries that are tarrif-free and frictionless?

As a net contributor.

They're already having issues agreeing funding arrangements. Will also be a net loser on tariffs.

No deal going to cause hassle and shit for both- wasting time trying to quantify it, and determine who comes out on top in a lose-lose situation is daft.

Will commone sense break out- fuck knows

I'm flabbergasted you have to explain that.

I'm flabbergasted people still don't get it after 4 years. But here we are. 🤷‍♂️

For what it’s worth, I’m a victim of that and we haven’t even left yet. Hence my annoyance.

I know mate, and I feel for you. "It is what it is" though, and "they need us more than we need them". etc. It is fucking infuriating.

If only it were about “simple mathematics” and the past.....

We're negotiating new trade arrangements. In terms of who is in the stronger position - it is about simple mathematics. It always is in trade negotiations. As you keep saying - "we've already left!", so the past is irrelevant. We're a 3rd country now, which is what you voted for.

Standards are always part of trade agreements. The Withdrawal Agreement committed us to the "Level Playing Field". It was literally in the text that Boris Johnson signed.

Is a level playing field for one side to be able to penalize the other if they believe that to be the case before it has been proven either way by an independent body in your opinion?

2 articles one in the Times tother in the Telegraph first one about supermarket’s being told to stockpile food and the second about government preparing to bail out farmers and food producers to the tune of billions if there is no deal .

Boris signed up to exactly that. He won the Genereal Election based on that "oven-ready" agreement. If you feel hard done by because you believed his bullshit, that's not for me to explain.

No no no.  Bollocks. Sorry. That wasn’t what was signed up to in the WA.

And hard done by? Sadly for you I’m not feeling that way buddy.

Why don't you write a letter to the EU asking them if you can live there, pick a country 1 to 27 📝

You love writing letters 😉

Excellent input, as always 👍

I'd loved to have lived in Berlin one day.

Won't really ever get the chance now I suppose 😞

Why not? You genuinely believe you can’t go and live in an eu country with your skillset? You could go anywhere  in the world

Apologies, you're right - it wasn't in the WA itself - it was in the Political Declaration that accompanied the WA, which Johnson signed up to.
